Family Tree

I saw the idea for hand prints as a family tree on Pinterest and loved the idea. I just added an extra spin on it with the swirls of multiple colors, glitter and buttons to make it my own spunky style.

I will probably have to make more of these for Grandparents.I was a fun project to do!

Friday

Jarrin's Baptism

One of the MOST important days in Jarrin's life! We are SO happy that he choose to be baptized and is choosing to follow his Savior's example to be clean and is trying to stay clean and pure. I am so thankful he is able to have the Gift of the Holy Ghost given to him to be his constant companion to help him in making righteous choices and to help him if he's in harms way.I am also thankful for my Husband's worthiness to Baptize Jarrin.

As one of his gifts from Mom and Dad, I made him his own CTR towel with a Baptism poem attached. I got the idea from a good friend on her blog HERE.

Jarrin's teacher, Judy Simon gave a talk {which was GREAT} and also gave him a Baptism Box with all sorts of goodies in it including a bottle of his Baptism water!! How cool is that!?

Along with his towel, Nana, Papa and Great Grandma Brown, along with Brad  and I pitched in to get him his first Quad scripture set with marking pencils and a Baptism book to remember his perfect day!

We then got to go out for Pizza afterwards to celebrate! What an AMAZING day!

Keeley got him a hunting Wii game. That thrilled him immensely!
Image
Then he got the BIG gift from Mom and Dad with the help  from our Aunt Pat and Uncle Dennis, a BOW! A real bow! hahaha, no more fake sissy ones, he's got the real deal now! Boy was he excited!
Image
He requested an Apple Pie for his dessert, which he, of course, got!

Image
For his Friend's Party, he requested a forest cake with animals....so....that's what he got. It reminded us of the Cabela's Mountain. Jarrin LOVED it!

Image
The kids got to play a game and dress up in some huge sweats and had to stuff as many balloons as they could inside. That was hilarious!

Sawyer requested a Darth Vader cake so I made it. He loved it!
