We are Thankful in All Things
We were so blessed to share this Thanksgiving with Uncle Tim, Micah and Ethan and the MacKay family that we met through Quinn's football team.
Saria MacKay and her 10 kiddos.
The two older boys Mush & Cartier played with Quinn this season and have spent many football weekends at our house; Friday Practice, Sleepover, Saturday Game, Sunday Church, REPEAT.
They call this little man the KING!
Black Friday Shopping Here We Come!
Really loved having help putting up the christmas tress this year. It is such a chore to put in each branch one at a time. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
Tim and Sara putting on the last row...
Tim and the boys have been coming to our house for Thanksgiving for probably the last 5 years or so and this has been a fun tradition. See you next year!
Football Season Wrap Up
Ahhh, football season. We love it and dedicate our every Saturday to it for 4 months and 2 hour practice every night from the end of July through end of November between both the boys. It is exhasting, wonderful, exciting and a huge commitment. Here are some of the highlights...
Barrett #32, Quinn #7, Sara #1 cheerleader.
Quinn lead his team to the playoffs where they took the Championship Victory for the 110 pound Wolverines. These are the special jerseys that the coach had custom made for the team.
Quinn with some of his football buddies on thier way to church.
These boys are SUPER STARS on and off the field!!!

MEOW AND ROAR!
These two kitty cats had a blast trick-or-treating this year. Barrett went off in the neighborhood with his possey of friends and came home with an amazing 14 pounds of candy!!! He came home carrying his pillow case over his shoulder, need I say more. Sara invited one of her friends that she sits with on the school bus to come candy collecting in our neighborhood with. She organized the whole thing, so I had to walk around the neighborhood with her and her 6th grade friend and her friends parents (meeting for the first time). They ended up being really nice but it was a little awkward. I guess the days of me and my four little monsters trick-or-treating together is over and gone.

A Mousie Apron Tale
One day a little mouse got into her mothers fabric box that was tucked far far away and decided that she wanted to make something. She found beautiful colors and patterns and began cutting and creating this apron completely from scratch. The little mouse searched high and low and found her mothers sewing box and neatly pinned every piece in place. Little mouse soon realized that it would take much to long to hand sttich every piece in place so she decided it was time to reveal her project to Mama mouse.
Mama mouse was delighted to see that her little mouse wanted learn to sew on the machine, but not delighted in the giagantic mouse mess that had been created in the far corner of the mouse house.
Mama mouse was kind and showed little mouse how to sew her apron on the sewing machine. Stitch-by stitch little mouse sewed every square and it made mama mouse so proud.

Kate's Sweet Sixteen
Yes the day has finally come, Kate had a wonderful sweet sixteen party with her favorite friends. We rented a Hummerzine for the night. They drove to Tysons corner for dinner at Maggianos, then to Georgetown Cupcakes for dessert, a stop at the National Harbor and then home to watch a cute movie that Peter put together of Kates life so far.
FYI-Peter rode in the front seat with the limo driver all night, isn't that just a fun way to celebrate your daughters bday...We Love You Kate, Happy Birthday!!!
