Goodbye summer...Hello Fall!!

I can't believe that this summer is gone. We have been busy keeping up with everything here at home. I don't know where it has gone for sure. Kaibrei will start 2nd grade and Hallie starts preschool. Kaibrei has told me a couple times in the last 2 weeks that she is ready to start school. Plus she got the teacher she really wanted.(all I say is it can't be as bad as last year) I am looking forward to sending them to bed early so that I too can have a little more peace and quiet...if it works!
Well we have one final camping trip to finish off the year. It has been a blast..We have enjoyed our friends that have gone with us all summer. We have really made some fun memories and can't wait till next year to have even more...
So with that I guess we will let fall come so that summer will come back around....

Welcome Home Austin!!

We counted down the days until Austin would be home. The kids were so excited! They are all so glad that he is now home. They couldn't get enough of him at first. We made shirts for the kids for the airport. We had to keep their shirts away from them until it was time to go to the airport. They would ask constantly "Is it time to go now?"

Memorial Weekend

We all geared up in our motorcycle clothes and boots and then put rain gear over top and decided to cross the broken bridge and see how far we could make it. We made it to the end of the trail. It was so muddy we were all covered with mud and wet from the rain. But we all had a fun time!!

Memorial Day Camping

What would Memorial Day Weekend be without a little bit of mother nature showing what she can do....We still enjoyed a fun weekend with the rain and mud. If anything it made it fun. Thank Goodness I packed enough clothes for the girls to have a spare as another dried. The girls couldn't even wait until camp was set up before they had started playing in the mud. We had a blast even though everyone else chickened out on us..

And I am sure that before we know it..We will wish it were here still. I see the girls growing up so much. I have began to run them to every little thing that they want to attend. I am grateful that they have a dad that supports them.

24 DAYS AND COUNTING DOWN!!!

WOW!! We got to talk to Austin yesterday for Mother's Day. Hallie asked him if he wanted to go four wheeling..That was all she wanted to know. Kaibrei on the other hand "talked his ear off". We have officially started the count down. June 2nd he will be home. I think he is ready to be home. It has been such an experience for him. So now all we have to do is wait for the day..(with a little planning)The kids' shirts should be in this week so we will have them so they can Welcome Home Austin!

Home Sweet Home

So..I am a slacker.. I have been so busy with my new calling as Relief Society Secretary, babysitting 3 extra kids 2 days a week and working 2 days as well that I don't always have a lot of extra time. BUT... Austin is on his final countdown. He will be home in 29 days!! I think we are all getting very anxious for that. We have been working in the yard when it isn't blowing or raining. It is definately a chore!

Back in November we moved into a AWESOME neighborhood!! I definately couldn't ask for a better place to raise my girls. They have changed so much since being in this ward. I can say that it is Home! I did not think that we would be able to feel like this so soon. We have been welcomed in and made SO many friends..I am truely greatful for ALL of them for all they do.
