Thanksgiving was FABULOUS! We visited my brother Spencer, his wife Wendy and daughter Elliana who live right next to New York City.

Hi family and friends! Where has the summer gone? It seems like we were just getting ready for summer and now fall is in the air. A lot happened this summer, I wanted to share a few highlights….
Spending time with Krew! Brandon (Bart’s twin), Diedre, and the boys were here for much of the summer. We have missed living close to them in Rexburg so it was good to spend time with them on many weekends!
Visit from Mom! Barton’s mom came to visit for a week. It is always SO good to see her! We went swimming, went to the aquarium, had a fun picnic with some of her cousins, etc. (For those who haven’t met her, she is the pretty lady in yellow).
Vacation to Indianapolis! Barton and I had a last summer hurrah to Indiana. It was SO much fun! Indianapolis is very tourist friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer.
There is a canal that goes through the downtown area of Indianapolis. This is us kayaking on the canal. It was so pretty!
We not only saw the city by water, but also by land! this is us on our self guided tandem bike tour of the city. Probably our favorite part of the trip.
We also went to the State Museum. It was fun to see all the exhibits!
After a few weeks of summer vacation Barton went back to class the beginning of August.
My getaway to Utah! With Barton back in school, I took off to see family. It was so fun and went by way too fast! There were SO many people I wanted to see but ran out of time. Don’t worry, I will be back for most of December :) Here are some of the highlights from my trip:
My fabulous little sis. was a director at Oakrest, an LDS girls camp for the summer. I got to go up and spend the day with her. It was a blast! I felt like a superstar, being Lobsterbush’s sister!
We went on lots of picnics including one at the Jordanelle Reservoir.
Celebrating Dad’s birthday! We went up into the canyons to party it up. We didn’t let the rain stop our parade!
Some much needed sister/cousin time! One of my favorite things to do is hang out with these girls! Of course we had to do the traditional frosty and fry run.
We recently had family pictures taken by our good friend Noel Dickens at a near by horse track. We definitely recommend him to anyone in the Lexington area. (Thanks again Noel!) The following are just a few of our favorites:
Can you believe that it is already June? A lot has happened in our neck of the woods in the past few months. The following posts are a few of the big events from May.
We had a blast camping this past weekend! Barton and I took our nieces and nephew camping for their first time. We went with some friends in the ward and had tons of fun…..
