Choir concert 2/09
Kylie is in a little choir of all girls that is done by Maren and Candice. Yesterday they sang at Springdale nursing home. They did such a great job and those residents really enjoyed it. They all looked so cute in their pink and red. Kylie wore pink of course:) She has really had fun in this group. I am greatful for the women who take it on:)Thanks girls!
Horseback riding at Tarwaters 2/09
So Madi has been after Darwin to take them horseback riding. He said we could come out on Presidents day. The kids had a blast to say the least! They all enjoyed riding. Cade never goes ANYWHERE without food, so he packed a lunch:) He and Kylie enjoyed running in the ditch and throwing dirt just as much as riding. I would love to get out of the city and have some space for my kids....Maybe someday, not! Kylie took a few pics but they are on Brent's phone I will post them later.
pictures at Val Vista Lakes December 08
So one Sunday I decided to take the kids out to Val Vista Lakes to take some pictures. One little girl in our family was not really in the mood for it all. Can you guess who that would be????
Snow trip 2008
O.k., so the pictures here are of our imfamous yearly snow trip.....We always try to get up to Flag at least once for a sledding trip. This trip however will not be remembered for the fun in the snow....but the HOURS in the car! We could have gone to Park CIty in the same amount of time this day trip took. Apparently we were not the only ones who wanted to play in the snow:) At one point we went about 3 miles in 3 hours!!!!!! Thus the pictures of the kids in the car and not the snow!!!!! A very long day, but a memory that will not be forgotten:)So my pictures were posted originally...don't know what happened:( will post them out of order

Pop Tarts and Applesauce
So toddlers tend to do funny things that can end up horrifying their mothers. Today was one of those times. Our house is pretty crazy in the mornings trying to get everyone out the door and to school on time. I run the morning carpool to Heritage. If we are not out the door by 7:30 am the "Big" kids are late. As a result there are mornings that the "little" kids are not ready, so sometimes I prevail upon the daddy to drop them off. (big mistake somedays:) anyway today was that day where we had to have dad do the elementary school drop off. So the kids get home from school and I upack the backpacks like I always do. I see in Cades backpack his lunch box. I asked him if he had left it at school all this time? He informs me that he packed his own lunch this am. I am way curious to know what he packed. He proceeds to tell me a pop tart and applesauce!(with the biggest spoon we have in the drawer mind you) He assured me that dad was perfectly fine with it! The first few min. it was kinds funny. Until, I realized one of my friends from the ward eats lunch with the little people every day. What kind of mother is she going to think I am? I quickly called her and explained the whole funny story. She thought it was a little fishy that Cade was so excited to go to lunch today! (I bet) well, at least it wasn't fruit loops and goldfish:)
