was awesome to replay this but i think i liked it more in my memories... my own hunter's dream... it starts very strong but it feels a little paint by numbers after a while. more of a dark souls 3 than a dark souls 1.
i think i just dont love going out of my way to do all the dlc and all the bosses in these games when i'm not super familiar with them. like after hour 50 i just wanna get it over with and then i force myself to play until hour 70 for no real reason. perhaps the pacing would be more enjoyable in a pre-dlc world
goes without saying it's still a fun game and the aesthetic definitely helps. but they should basically just make it like dark souls 1 instead. i hope they make a pvpve sequel on the nintendo switch 2.

I think I can safely say i have now seen everything Pih has to offer, which makes me incredibly sad.
This is truly an auteur's vision. BecomeANobody-kantoku is not only the singular voice that developed and designed this game. But I would like to stress that every single level has it's own unique Chief Keef-esque FL Studio beat to go with it. This is an audio-visual experience not unlike Pink Floyd's The Wall or Radiohead's Unreal Engine game.
I thoroughly enjoyed the under 10 hours of gameplay divided over 2 years of updates and am genuinely quite excited for it's sequel.
Thank you to my friend for buying me this game. I believe it's the best money she ever spent.
