Our Why

Learning outcomes in much of the emerging world are dismal. In Pakistan alone, 77% of 10-year-olds can’t read a sentence and 50 million students will leave K-12 education without essential skills required to succeed in the 21st century. These include language proficiency, communication, critical thinking, and digital/AI literacy.

Millions of inadequately prepared graduates worldwide become teachers. With little or no access to professional development, they perpetuate a vicious cycle of poor learning outcomes, a poorly skilled workforce, and underprepared future teachers.

At Beaj Education, we are on a mission to disrupt the cycle of learning poverty and democratize skills that teachers, students and young professionals need to boost individual, national and international productivity.
