I have this fabulous friend that lives in Manhattan, Kansas going to Kansas State University. I have been really wanting to visit her for some time and I finally made it happen! The Kansas City Temple was going to be dedicated the first weekend in May and so what better time for me to come out. Friday Night, we went to a Jamaican restaurant in Manhattan. (Yes, they had one there...not expecting that!) You really felt like you were in Jamaica until you stepped out of the restaurant and realized you were in Manhattan, Kansas. After dinner, we went for a walk in Aggieville. The hang out olace in town. Yes, it was only 3 blocks long. We got ice cream sandwiches from Cold Stone. After the race was over! The Langley Ward recently sponsored a Date Auction Fundraising event to raise money for Friends of Scouting. My friend and I submitted a date to go Go-Karting. We took the winners of our date out to a place in Sterling called All Sports Grand Prix. Not paying attention during the Information Video We wore some cool driving suits The only one actually paying attention to the video Getting our gear on! Sadly I didn't get a picture of any of the Go-Karts or us in them! But we sure did have a good time. BTW, I was the slowest of the pack! I think I need to go and practice more frequently.
