Reunion in Torre Pellice Italy

the Beus family comes from the Alps region and they have a long history of being persecuted from the Catholics because they were Waldensian. The story is inspiring. Their faith was similar to mine and discovering more about them was really fun. We got a rental car in Turin and did hikes everyday through the foothills of the alps where we could still see their homes they built into mountain side out of rocks. We saw their one room schools where  they would teach their children the Bible, music and other school subjects. We saw monuments with  Beux names and went to the city records office to see our great great great grandfathers signature on his sons birth certificate. On top of all that we got to hang out with 49 of bens cousins, aunts and uncles who we love and it was so fun to catch up with them. It was a perfect trip.

Rome and Florence Italy 🇮🇹

We went to Italy for a Beus family reunion since their ancestors are from there. But before the reunion started we did the Vatican (museums, Sistine chapel and St. Peter’s basilica), coliseum, Roman forum, Palatine hill, David in the academia, the Duomo in Florence, pointe Vecchio and many many piazzas. We also went to Cinque Terra and jumped off the rocky cliffs into the ocean and Pisa where the three main buildings lean. It was beautiful... really amazing. Words can’t describe it. It was also stressful and expensive but worth it!
