vernal! Jenny came to town

Jenny and Eric are nearing the end of his residency which means they are on the job hunt!!! One option is Vernal so we met up with them and partied it up! Candace and I drove over with them and had a lot of fun for two days.

 our side fence after the intoxicated driver hit it. Bad news- we've had to jump through lots of hoops and make lots of phone calls. Good news- it looks like we will be getting a whole new fence paid for by the guys insurance...

Ben grew a beard for movember? (november) I'm not a huge fan and it's gone now! :)

 We are absolutely loving life with our girls! Of course there are stressful times but it's amazing and we are all growing tons!

Ruth

Can you believe this is Ruth!? it was 4 months ago in the hospital with her cousin that is 4 months older!

Blessing day and party- we are so blessed to have Ruthy! She is a perfect baby and smiles and laughs a lot.

Beth... I'm learning lots about being a mom!

She is hilarious! I've loosed up a little and enjoyed just having fun with her. It's funny how much more fun it is to just be silly and laugh and play- my house wasn't ever clean even when I was more up tight so I might as well not stress about it right!

hum- I wonder where she learned to do this! I tell you what- kids are sponges- they soak up whatever they see and hear! SCARY! :)

updates/halloween

We were the Snow White story for Halloween- I'm the witch, Ben is Prince Charming (so handsome), Ruth is Happy the dwarf and Beth is the princess- she plays the part so well! :)

we got out this toy for Ruth and Beth wanted to get in soooo here's a little before and after: (crazy what a year does to a baby!)

Wow! WHAT A CUTIE! I'm in love.

So I'm incredibly happy as a mom- I have my bad days for sure and by the time evening time rolls around I'm ready for Ben to come home and help out but all in all I am the happiest I've ever been in my life.

Beth is starting to talk a lot more- saying prayers (mimicking the last word we say), saying "night night" (she is getting better at going to bed which is a relief), saying "gps", "ees", and "treats" for her 3 favorite foods: grapes (frozen), cottage cheese, and halloween candy!

Ruth is still a gem although she is starting to express more opinions... I guess I can't have a totally perfect baby forever! I love my girls.

Ruth is 2 months already!

11 lbs (57% percentile) and 22 inches (38% percentile) and cute as can be- way smiley! I tried to get pictures of her smiling but it's just so much better in real life:

Beth loves her little sister and is always giving her hugs and finding her pacifier- I really love being a mom- it's tough sometimes but wow the pay offs are amazing!

ahh the joys of babies

I thought I'd grab a quick picture as I changed diapers and I caught the ongoing war of the pacifier on film! Beth was over binkies months ago until Ruth came along with it...

That's where I hurry and set the phone down to save poor Ruth about to be clobbered big time!
