R. https://bengr.studio/Rite-of-Passage-I Rite of Passage I Suite 650 | Austin, TX January 28, 2023 Music: Alex DL Sound Design: Dawn DX &amp; Dreamgoth Rite of Passage is a live performance piece that pushes the limits of experimental trance music to examine the dynamics of the relationship between a society and their traditions. In this event, Austin musician Alex DL premiered his Rite of Passage album to a live audience. This music is based off of the sounds and compositions of trance music, but without percussion: hypnotic arpeggios and soaring synths weave together a feeling of constant forward momentum and create an eternal build-up that never quite crescendos.
