Wow! I have never heard Bay scream like that before. She was NOT a fan of Santa Clause. We had our ward Christmas party on Saturday and the ward members nominated members to be either on Santa's naughty or nice list. Bailey and I got ourselves on the nice list but Bryan ended up on the naughty list. Ha Ha!

Forgotten Carols

ImageBryan, his parents, my parents and I went to the Forgotten Carols on Monday. There were so many people but let me just say our seats were wonderful the entertainment was wonderful and the company was wonderful. :) We have made it a tradition to go every year. It is a good way to get into the Christmas spirit and enjoy some quality time together. It was so much fun. I love Michael McLean's music. He's amazing. I just can't get enough of those songs.

What a cute little bunny. We couldn't decide if Bailey should be a Bunny or a Stawberry. Bryan was a Crazy Dr. with purple hair and and dressed up as a beat up soccer player. Jason's boys were Stich, a Devil and a Bumble Bee. We had fun at Granny's and Grandpa Dean's house.

I'm glad he's mine

Image
David O. McKay once said, "The best thing a father can do for his children is to let them see that he loves their mother."
I am sitting here thinking about how grateful I am for my husband. I am SO proud of him for working so hard and doing his best while he watches Bailey. She loves him so much. Sometimes I get jealous of the times that she wants her Dad and not her mom, but I am very happy for the bond that they have made with one another.
He is such a good man to do what he has for our little family. I know how important it is to him to provide for us, and I am so thankful he feels so strongly about his calling as a father/husband. I love you honey. I love you more than you will know. I am so proud of you. Thank you for giving me everything I have ever wanted in my life.

We had so much fun in Colorado. We went down to see Tiffany and Ryan's new place. It's beautiful. While we were down there it was the time of year that the elk come down to the golf course and wander through the shops at Estes Park. It was amazing we got some really good pictures. At times we were so close it was scary. Bryan was like a kid in a candy store. They were everywhere. Big and small, old and young. Bailey did OK. She is teething and wasn't happy at times. But I can't complain. She did fantastic with the 6 hr. drive.

Thanks Jamie

Image
Big thanks to Jamie for telling me about a new song from "Plumb" called "In your arms." (It's on my play list.) I heard this song and instantly fell in love with it. I hope one day Bailey will know that this song is how I feel about her. So I dedicate it to you sweet heart. I love you so much Bailey.

WATER FIGHT!

Image
Image
Last Sunday Bryan and my sister Danielle were in the kitchen at mom and dads. Somehow or another Danielle had water thrown on her. It wasn't a lot of water and I tried to keep it going. As Danielle was hugging our dad goodbye, I poured water down her back, then, she left it wide open for Bryan to do it again with my dads help. Just as we thought the fun was over, Danielle brought a pitcher of water from the kitchen and let my dad have it.

First time canning

Image
Last Friday and Saturday mom and I canned peaches. I had so much fun. We canned 28 quarts, and 23 pints and made 3 batches of yummy jam! At times it was a little hard with Bailey but she was great most of the time. Thanks mom for all your time and knowledge.

One of the perks of being a cop...

Image
Yep! That's Jessica Simpson. Yep! That's Bryan right behind her.
Seeing Jessica was a reward for Weber High School winning a text messaging contest. Bryan and other officers had to escort her out of the school and out to the freeway. Bryan said it was weird to see someone famous so up close but it was fun. Bryan didn't get a kiss on the cheek like some of the student body officers did but he says being that close to someone "that hot" was good enough. Needless to say, Bryan was in a good mood the rest of the day.

He got one!

Image
Our week started off leaving on Friday the 15th and driving down to Monroe where we met Bryan's family. My week consisted of reading, going on walks with Bailey, working on my cross-stitch, teaching Bailey new things and watching for wild life. Bryan's week consisted of waking up at all hours of the morning to find deer, comming back to camp at lunch, leaving camp again to go find deer, then arriving back at camp very late at night to warm up by the fire. On the fourth day Bryan got his Deer. It was so nice to be away from work and be able to enjoy the peace and quite up in the Mt's. Here are some pics of our trip. Enjoy
