A lot has happened.

Last Monday we had our Bridal/Groomals. Here is a small preview.ImageImageAnd I went to 2 soccer games over the weekend. Whitney and I got lost in downtown LA for the first game. Fabulous. The second game they won 2-0! I love soccer games. And I have the coolest jersey ever! All of the wives get one. It had a BYU emblem on the front and "BINDRUP" on the back. I love it.ImageFriday James, my mom, dad, and I went to the temple. I wish we had a picture of us outside the Newport Beach temple, probably something we should have documented. But we didn't. Oh well.... I loved it. I had a great experience.

James flew back with his team to Utah earlier today and will be back Thursday. That day he has a soccer game and the next day we are getting married! 5 days people. 5 days! At midnight it will be 4. So let's just say 4. My to do list is miles long, but I am stoked. Can't wait. Not nervous at all, just excited.

Also I can't wait for my bachlorette party Wednesday, thrown be these lovely ladies.

Life is awesome. I am hoping my last 4 days as a single lady will be just as awesome. Only 4 days.

Bridal Shower #3

Hosted by:Paula and Katherine Kinnison, Teri and Emily Cooper, Laurie Gregson, Cheri Taylor, Kim Koelikker, Leigh Hrabik, ya a million people. Welcome to my ward family. We're family. This is me and the best main host ever Paula Kinnison.Imagethe girls in my fam.
ImageSome friends. From left to right. Zoe (same preschool class), Raf (same first grade class), Lauren (choir buddies from 4th grade to senior year), Alissa (carpooled to kindergarten), me, Whitty (besties forever. Her missionary comes home in 46 days!), Em (unfortunately Emily and I never attended the same school, but we were always in the same seminary class!), Jill (only married girl in the bunch. Sweetest girl ever!)ImageIt was seriously so fun! I felt so loved! For some reason it also made this whole marriage thing seem so much more real. We are so close! It is so soon! 9 days away! For some reason I thought it would feel the same as James coming home and in some aspects it does. One way it's similar is when James came home I wasn't jumping up and down excited until a few days before and I felt like EVERYONE was more excited than I was, until that phase hit. Oh and everyone still asks "are you excited?" haha what are you supposed to say to that? I always say (to both situations) "no! haha. Of course I'm excited!" One difference is I'm a little more nervous this time around. Not in a bad way, I'm not nervous about James, but this is such a BIG thing. I can't wrap my brain around it. But oh my gosh, can you believe it? 9 more days. That's nothing and we're going to the temple in 2 days. Crazy!

Engagements... FINALLY!!

Our Engagement pictures FINALLY came in the mail today. I know 2 weeks before the wedding haha... Wedding plans have pretty consistently been on this "late" path. Hopefully the trend diminishes soon! Anyways as some of you know I won FREE engagements. So she only edited like 3 photos and I edited a whole bunch. I'm sure you can totally tell which ones she did and which ones I, the amateur, did. But just in case here are a few she edited

This last one is James's favorite! It's his favorite because of the picture, not because of my editing. I wish I would have given her this one to edit!
Image13 more days... we can't wait!

First Wedding Present

We received our first wedding present Monday night! I was lucky enough to have James still here so we got to open it together! ImageI have only gotten one present from Target so far, so I don't know if this bag comes with every present. IT. IS. HUGE. ImageAs you can see... we both fit inside. ImageAlso notice James's wedding ring. He is so cute, he already wears it. ALWAYS. Super cute. Oh.. maybe I should mention we got a rice cooker and I'm really excited about it. Thank you Brother and Sister Hildt!

Bitter.

This..Image
a.k.a. my wedding dress, was SUPPOSED to be finished with alterations TODAY. It was SUPPOSED to be on an airplane (with my sweetheart) to come to me TOMORROW. Alas, that has not happened. My wedding dress is stuck in Tennessee right now in a flood where no air or ground shipping is being made at this time. In result of this..
  • We had to cancel our bridal/groomals with our awesome photographers Paige and Blake Green. Which by the way was going to be awesome! We were going to shot them at the Newport Beach Pier (the first place James and I ever held hands October 2005). Now we might not even get to do them with James being out of state and his ridiculous schedule with soccer and work.
  • We had to cancel James's tux rental with a fee because you need to cancel at least 7 days in advance EVEN THOUGH I didn't know 7 days in advance. I only knew 5 days in advance and told them the next day.
  • We had to cancel my bridal bouquet with yet another fee for not canceling with enough notice.
  • James paid for a flight this weekend SOLELY for those pictures. When he could have flown back with the soccer team for free. (They are playing a game in Orange County TOMORROW if anyone wants to come with me!)
  • We might have to pay for ANOTHER flight for James SOLELY for the pictures. If we don't James and I have to choose between him being with me when I receive my endowment and I take bridals by myself OR he's not there for my endowment and we take pictures together. The decision seems obvious, but it's kinda sad still. I really wanted both.
In other news, life is ticking on in California. I try to accomplish at least 3 or 4 wedding things every day. There are so many little things! But hopefully all the work will be worth it and the wedding will be beautiful. Can't wait. 27 days!
