All we do is DRIVE!

I am still on a trip with these guys. ImageAnd I have a hilarious story to tell... on the day in between the games (today) we weren't really sure as to what we wanted to do. So we took a vote and the Secoya National Park won. ImageWhich was about an hour and a half the opposite way we were supposed to be driving, and we were okay with that. So we proceed to drive to the Secoya National Park. Upon arrival we were informed that our bus was too large to enter the park, so we turned around and drove to our next destination, with an extra 3 hours tacked on for NO REASON. THAT REALLY HAPPENED!!! Seriously, all we do is drive on these trips. We probably drive 20xs more than we play soccer. Crazy.

Weekend (well weekend already for us!)

James and I went to the temple yesterday for the first time since we were sealed. It was this temple ImageMount Timpanogos. Provo is closed right now, so James picked me up at 7 from school (I go 1 pm to 7 pm Mondays and Wednesdays). We booked it to American Fork. Got there just in time for the last session. Rushed home for 20 minutes to pack and get ready to bored a bus full of the BYU soccer men. We were on that bus for OVER 16 hours.... which was pretty miserable, but we're excited to be in California. Fresno to be exact. ImageThere's a game tonight. Then we will be heading South to Lancaster. A game Saturday night. Then back to Provo Sunday. We love adventures!

Our Wedding Day.

ImageOur wedding day 6.4.10 was absolutely perfect.
ImageI woke up at 6:30 EXHAUSTED. I stayed up really late finishing up some stuff. If I had to do it again I would totally sleep and not sweat the little things.
ImageI showered. Ate a little breakfast. Blow dried my hair. Finished up some packing (I was living in California and had to have everything ready for my parents to bring to our Open House in Las Vegas before James and I left for our honeymoon).
ImageI wasn't nervous AT ALL. It all felt so surreal to me. I felt like it was just a normal day.
ImageWhitney came over and did my hair and make up. Mid-hair the doorbell rang. I was trying to act super chill and just let Whitney finish my hair before I went to say hi to James, but I couldn't take it. I was too excited. So as soon as she dropped the curling iron, I ran over to hug him.
ImageHis mom, step-dad, and brother David came to drop him off. They stayed and chatted for awhile, then took off.
ImageWhitney finished my hair. James and I shared a bagel, then we were off in daddy's BMW to the temple, just the two of us.
ImageThe drive felt so normal. We both weren't nervous AT ALL. We both felt like it was so surreal and we were just driving to Newport for a fun date, not to get married.
ImageWe get there, talk to the temple President for a little, see our sealer (James's grandpa), talk to him for awhile. Then it was time to change into my wedding dress!
ImageJames and I were escorted to the Celestial room for awhile. That's where we got butterflies.
ImageQuick side note, while we were in the Celestial room someone came up to James and asked him if he was on the BYU soccer team haha. He's a super star.
ImageWhen we were walking from the Celestial room to the sealing room is where we both really got butterflies, but that subsided when we saw all of our family and friends waiting for us.
ImageIt was so fun to have all of James's siblings there, 4 of our grandparents, 4 of James's mission buddies, and tons of family friends. We packed the biggest sealing room in the Newport Beach Temple. Whitney's dad, Dan Schoessow had to stand.
ImageThe experience was so incredible and so surreal (that's my word for the day). It was really special to have James's grandpa be the sealer.
ImageWe waited for awhile in the room before we exited the temple. My littlest sister brought me my bouquet and James his boutonniere.
ImageWe walked out the door and everyone was cheering. Please ignore my goofy smiles. I was so happy I look a little weird in all of my "just out of the temple" pics.
ImageWe hugged all of the bridesmaids, then didn't know what to do. We had already hugged all of the other people in the temple. So we kinda stood there awkwardly haha.
ImageSomeone yelled to hug them again, so they saved our awkwardness.
ImageThen on to pictures, which took FOREVER. Our sealing was at noon and we took pictures until 4. One of the ladies at the temple even called to make sure I didn't leave without my stuff (marriage license, dress I wore to the temple, etc).
ImageFirst we took a group picture.
Image

ImageThen we took pictures with James's family.
ImageThen we took pictures with the soccer team. How stinkin' cute is it that they showed up to the temple? I LOVED it.
Image
ImageThen we took pictures with my family.
ImageThen we took pictures with the Bridesmaids/Groomsmen (which Teisha informed me this part alone took 45 minutes, just to give you an idea).
Image
Image
ImageThen a zillion more pictures just the two of us.
ImageFinally we were freed.
ImageWe drove to my house and literally had a half hour to rest before we had to go to the reception AND I still had to re-do my hair.
ImageThen it was on to the reception.
ImageMORE TO COME! Soon I will post about our reception and honeymoon and Open House :)
ImageNOTE: Our photographers Paige and Blake Green did not kidnap us haha. We loved every minute of photo taking. They were awesome. Check out their blog and website. I would recommend them and our videographer Dave Neeley to ANYONE. They were the best ever!

James's post marriage SOCCER interview

His hair is so long. We're cutting it today. Love the after practice look. I just thought this was so fun to see on the soccer website.

......wedding/honeymoon/marriage thoughts to come. We are SUPER busy and I start school this week! But I will find some time, eventually.
