Fahrul Amama is Social Marketing and Campaign Officer in Burung Indonesia. He was previously director of Yayasan Sampiri, a local NGO in the Sangihe and Talaud islands of Indonesia. Before conducting the bird keeping project for Burung Indonesia he worked on bird trade issues and spent many years working on parrot conservation action in eastern Indonesia.
