The George Washington University Law school (GW Law) has announced the launch of new concentrations as part of its LL.M. in International and Comparative Law program.
Students studying on that LL.M. will now be able to pursue concentrations in either International Human Rights Law or International Arbitration, Mediation, and Other Dispute Resolutions, beginning in the fall of this year.
The new specialties "will open professional and externship opportunities for our students and attract more practitioner participation in our lectures, events, and other law school activities," according to Rosa Celorio, associate dean at the school.
To complete one of the new LL.M. specializations, students will need to take credits in their chosen subject area. The specializations will also include experiential components and a writing requirement.
