Men's Basketball Moves Up Two Spots to No. 10 in NABC National Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Fairmont State Men's Basketball moved up two spots to No. 10 in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) national rankings. The Fighting Falcons went 2-0 last week with wins over Glenville State College and Concord University.

The Falcons are 18-3 on the season and 13-3 in Mountain East Conference play. West Liberty moved up one spot to No. 4 in the national rankings as the Hilltoppers are the only other MEC school in the top 25 along with Fairmont State.

In the D2SIDA national poll, Fairmont State ranked 15th with Nova Southeastern taking the top spot with 20 first-place votes. West Liberty is listed No. 5 in the D2SIDA men's basketball poll with Northwest Missouri State (2nd), Lubbock Christian (3rd), and Indiana (Pa.) (4th) rounding out the remaining teams in the top five in addition to West Liberty.

No. 12 Fairmont State is on the road tomorrow night when the Falcons head to South Euclid, Ohio to face Notre Dame College at 7:30 p.m. in MEC action.
