The UK's Kent Law School has announced a new LL.M. in Law and Health.
According to Kent professor Sally Sheldon, the new LL.M. will "explore the political contexts that impact the regulation of health, and consider the complex interrelationships between health, law and regulation."
The program is well positioned to look closely at current events. For example, the school promises that students will explore the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of its legal implications for health law and ethics.
Courses in the new specialism will include "The Regulation of Healthcare," "Healthcare Law and Ethics," and "Health, Poverty, and Social Justice," among others. The program will be available in both full- and part-time options.
