DOSE staking is around the corner
DOSE is the utility token of its Fitness Metaverse, move-to-earn on Dustland Runner, Dustland Rider and The Sandbox
Following the Alpha testing Android release of its Dustland Runner move-to-earn audio adventure game, OliveX (BVI) is preparing a new staking event for its DOSE tokens, an integral part of its Fitness Metaverse, alongside Dustland, which will also include the forthcoming Dustland Rider cycling app, and the Sandbox. DOSE is the Fitness Metaverse’s pan-ecosystem utility token, which can be earned and spent across all three segments.
Why buy and hold DOSE?
The simple answer is that we have a new staking event for DOSE holders coming up. And if you need another reason to hold your DOSE, it’s an easy way to earn yet more DOSE.
DOSE powers the OliveX fitness metaverse ecosystem and there are three ways you can earn and use the tokens:
- Dustland games Move-to-earn when you workout by running or cycling the distance to get DOSE for Gears upgrades;
- The Sandbox Immerse yourself in the virtual fitness city and earn on the 12x12 fitness land and in its mini games. Pull a massive flex and show off your voxel art NFTs (sales details TBC) and participate in mini games to earn SAND tokens, which you can then convert to DOSE in the future;
- OliveX Sandbox Fitness partners The fitness city currently boasts almost 10 fitness partners, and some will sell physical merchandise in exchange for DOSE. Think of it as a virtual shopping mall. On top of that, brands that are running membership points plans or loyalty programmes will connect virtual rewards with DOSE tokens.
Why should I stake?
Those who choose to stake will be given a chance at receiving a limited White Barrow headset NFT! The headset is a key item in the Dustland game and the one that players will want and need for a variety of reasons, including:
- Technical upgrades it grants
- Its utility for modifying gameplay statistics as well as earning more DOSE from activity
- The value it holds for its epic rarity
This will become Dustland’s second NFT, following Kettlemine.
DOSE pre-sale voucher redemption
DOSE holders who bought their vouchers during pre-sale on Animoca Launchpad have been patiently waiting for the day when vouchers could be redeemed and converted into tokens, and the day has finally arrived. The official redemption date for DOSE has been confirmed for Tuesday, April 12, 2022.
With DOSE’s unlock date just about a week away, those holding tokens are recommended to keep them, as a new staking event won’t be far behind. And you’ll want another Dustland utility NFT to get a head start in the game.
