CMS receives writing award from GADOE

Carrollton Middle School has been recognized by the Georgia Department of Education (GADOE) for its writing achievements, specifically demonstrating excellence in cursive instruction and fluency, and will be honored with a proficiency banner and ribbon. CMS was one of 188 schools that qualified for the award.

CES broadcast breaking news: School is back!

To start off the school year, Ms. Hannah Kay Brooks's students led the Trojan GOLD cheer to celebrate being back on campus and aiming for the gold standard in all that they do! As leaders of the school, each week a different third-grade class joins the broadcast to share announcements.

First week fun: Getting to know our classmates!

During the first week of school, students and teachers across campus are getting to know each other better! At Carrollton Upper Elementary School, Ms. Abby Coppersmith's young artists created sketchbook entries with their names and drawings that represent them to share with their classmates.

CHS students speak at Golden Kiwanis Club

CHS junior Presley McLaren and senior Amira Dhople recently presented at the Carrollton Golden Kiwanis Club, where they shared about their experiences as members of the Carrollton City Youth Council (CYC). The CYC is a leadership development program for high school students to learn more about local government and assist in facilitating events and youth programs.
