A record day for Proximie... Over 5,500 people watched Proximie live on Saturday, via two simultaneous live educational events. The first involved 5,000 medical students and surgical trainees from Medic Mentor being virtually walked through a Nephrectomy case (see images) by Ben Challacombe, Consultant Urologist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust. The second event saw 500 surgical trainees joining a Surgical Review with Dr Sujay Shah performing a Laparoscopic Appendicectomy, at the International Undergraduate & Foundation Surgery Conference #iNUGSC202111) in conjunction with UCL Surgical Society.
