Romain de Waubert de Genlis’ Post

I am so happy, after almost 5 years of development, after breaking all wishlist records, winning the best strategy game award at Gamescom, several days already on the top of Steam worldwide sellers, an avalanche of amazing reviews, some saying that “Humankind is, without hyperbole, one of the nicest 4X games to actually play”(Gamesradar) or “Only a studio like Amplitude could be able to join the excellence of the Firaxis series” (Multiplayer.it) or even because it feels nice to be loved in France where the game was created “HUMANKIND is a true masterpiece and the best 4X of the decade” (gameblog.fr)…. TO ANNOUNCE THE RELEASE OF HUMANKIND today at 4 pm CEST! Thank you so much for everyone to have shared that dream for so long, and especially the Team in Paris, that has such talent, such energy and positivity, that they made the journey a real joy! (In moments like today, joy is all I can remember) A big thanks to all our friends at SEGA, who on top of being the best professionals I met, in all areas, are the nicest people to work with. They have always been there, by our side and always believed in us!

I've tested Humankind at the end of my holidays in August. A true masterpiece in its innovative vision and amazing execution! Congrats to you and the team for this fantastic achievement!

Completed my first playthrough. Starting another. The « one more turn » syndrom is definitely there.
