No. 22 Women's Swimming & Diving Wins Three Major Awards, Earns 19 All-Ivy Honors

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced its post-season awards for women's swimming & diving Wednesday afternoon, and the Princeton University women's swimming & diving team won three major awards, was named First Team All-Ivy in 11 events and Second Team in eight.
Head Coach Abby Brethauer was honored as Coach of the Year, while Dakota Tucker was named High Point Swimmer of the Meet and Ellie Marquardt Career High Point Swimmer.
Tucker was named First Team All-Ivy in three events; the 200 breaststroke, the 200 IM and the 400 IM. Sabrina Johnston also collected a pair of First Team honors in the 50 freestyle and 100 freestyle. Margaux McDonald was a First Team honoree in the 100 breaststroke, as was Heidi Smithwick in the 200 butterfly.
Princeton also garnered First Team honors in four relays. Johnson, Ela Noble, Ellie Marquardt and Smithwick were recipients in the 400 freestyle relay while Johnson, Noble, Smithwick and Isabella Korbly earned the accolade in the 200 freestyle relay. In the 200 medley relay the quartet of Alexa Pappas, McDonald, Johnston and Noble were named First Team, as were Marquardt, Johnston, Eleanor Sun and Smithwick in the 800 freestyle relay.
Garnering Second Team honors was Noble in the 50 freestyle, Marquardt in the 200 freestyle, McDonald in the 200 backstroke, McDonald in the 200 IM, Eliza Brown in the 200 breaststroke along with Sun in the 200 butterfly and 400 IM. Korbly, McDonald, Smithwick and Noble were also named Second Team in the 400 medley relay.
Additionally, McDonald was named Academic All-Ivy League.
