CMS and CHS receive state recognition for academic excellence in writing and math
| Carrollton Middle School and Carrollton High School have been recognized by the Georgia Department of Education for their outstanding academic achievements, with both schools earning recognition as Math Leader schools and CMS also receiving the John Hancock award for excellence in cursive writing. CHS students named Governor's Honors finalists
| Carrollton High School students will be headed to Georgia Southern University in Statesboro this summer to participate in the Governor’s Honors program. CHS sophomore Allie Grace Ashlock and juniors Tyler Clotfelter and Kaia Maggiano will be representing the district, and sophomore Yadiel Pilar Enriquez was chosen as an alternate for the program. | |

| This week at Carrollton Elementary, students took center stage and put their talents on display. Third graders in the Performing Arts Club brought the story of Finding Nemo KIDS! to life under the direction of Mrs. Ciara Thornton, supported by Mrs. Stephanie Nestor. | Honoring female leaders in the community, CHS debate team members and teachers, Mr. Richard Bracknell and Ms. Alison Hibbard, organized a panel of local women, who answered questions about their careers and shared words of wisdom with students. Celebrating good weather and behavior
| At the Carrollton Upper Elementary, students enjoyed the refreshing spring weather at their March celebration for demonstrating positive behavior. Expanding Mental Health Support for Our Students
We are committed to supporting the well-being of every student and know mental health is essential to success. In addition to resources already available to our families, we now offer support through Cartwheel, providing teletherapy, family guidance, and psychiatric care with licensed clinicians. Services are available within days, offered virtually from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. in multiple languages. Individual therapy is available for students, along with parent guidance at all grade levels. For families with Medicaid, services are free, and Cartwheel is in-network with most major insurance plans. To learn more, please click HERE.
