Project: Hyper-scale Data Center
"This past summer I was able to complete my second Co-op rotation with The Walsh Group. I was placed within a data center project where I was involved in a bunch of different tasks. Some of which were lead meetings, close/create/revise submittals and RFIs, take pictures and videos, attend many meetings (Work Plans, BIM coordination, Daily Brief Activity, Weekly Subcontractor Meeting, and info sessions), talked to a lot of Formen, used the camera 360, and inspections for deliveries/materials. Additionally I got to participate in The Walsh Group’s annual Equipment Rodeo in where all the interns located in the Chicagoland area get to control different equipment (cranes, excavator, semi-trucks, and forklifts). In the photo submission I included a picture of me during the rodeo.
