Fresh Start, Same Vision
As we enter a brand new year, we tend to use this time to reflect and acknowledge areas of our life that can be improved, form new habits, solve unnecessary issues and write a new chapter, aiming to create a better version of ourselves for the year ahead.
Humanity is evolving to the point that we are on the way to accomplishing the biggest mission of humankind. We are exploring a whole new idea of becoming a multi-planetary species.
We, the Pulsex team, believe that all this is possible, and we stand behind this idea with passion, enthusiasm and professionalism.
The PulseX project was born in May 2021 to support the most extraordinary mission ever created. Having that in mind, it would be just foolish to think about colonising other planets, starting a new life outside the blue sphere, discovering the secrets of this vast universe, and yet, carrying the same old and unnecessary behaviours that instigate the most basic conflicts on the planet earth.
On December 16th, we became aware that Richard Heart (RH) decided to rename his project, which was initially called PulseSwap, to pulsex. We immediately contacted him to understand the confusion and offer ways to fix the issue and move forward.
After a series of tweets from him and his Community, we realised that not just our project’s name was under attack, but our credibility, integrity and intentions as a team.
Let’s face it.
Unfortunately, a common knowledge situation and something that RH has also expressed vehemently, the crypto space is full of bad actors.
It is infiltrated by dishonest individuals with no issue stealing hard-earned people’s money for their selfish benefit, sometimes causing irreparable problems to the victims and painting a very dirty picture about the digital asset landscape. At the same time, we have the innovators, the early adopters, the forward-thinking entrepreneurs, brilliant people that contribute to building a new industry and revolutionary ways to deal with finance as a whole. For these excellent reasons, crypto continues attracting more and more people every day, and it was no different with us.
We, the PulseX team, came to the crypto space to add value, bring new ideas and help shape its future.
The confusion created with PulseX being used in 2 projects has affected both communities, creating discomfort, misunderstanding, and a series of unnecessary attacks.
As part of our company policy, we always focus on the matters we can control, and we try not to get distracted about things out of our reach.
People think differently, have different intentions, a different vision for the future, different agendas etc. It’s all good; it is what makes us individuals.
To avoid even more misunderstandings, attacks on our team and its integrity, we decided to stop this issue from going further.
Richard Heart has shown significant interest in the name PulseX to the point that he is comfortable using it, despite the confusion it has brought to many people in both communities. On December 16th, when it all started, we contacted RH to discuss the matter and find an angle to solve it to benefit both projects. We never had a response.
Now, we have decided to make it public that we are handing over the name to RH. In fact, we will donate PulseX.io so that he can move forward with his vision without any issue and vice versa.
We strongly believe that RH has the best intentions for his project the same way we have for ours. So, from now on, our project is named InpulseX.
As evident in our project, we support SpaceX, Elon Musk, and his vision to humanity living outside planet Earth. That’s the reason behind our name, to sound similar, familiar and easy to remember.
We have in our roadmap the migration to PulseChain once its mainnet is live. We believe in RH’s vision aiming to minimise network fees, increase transactions speed, reducing energy waste; it all makes a lot of sense for us. After all, we are Hexicans too. For these reasons, PulseChain is part of our project’s plan.
The heartbeat line adopted in our branding aligns perfectly with the idea of bringing life to the red planet, which is currently lifeless to the best of our knowledge.
On top of all that, as supporters of SpaceX, InpulseX means the force behind the move, the force pushing SpaceX and its vision even further.
Inpulse is the Latin translation for Impulse with the meaning mentioned above. The X is self-explanatory to show our love for Elon Musk and SpaceX.
