PRS and PRS Global Open Resident Advisory Board
Thank you to our active and engaged Resident Advisory Board members from across the world.
Plastic Surgery Residents or Post-Plastic Surgery Residency Fellows must actively participate in
3 of the 5 activities to remain members of the PRS and PRS Global Open Resident Advisory Board:
- Create and share at least ONE less-than-one-minute video on your own social media channel(s) every quarter promoting and linking to a recent PRS or PRS Global Open article and tagging us (@PRSJournal for PRS; @PRSGlobalOpen for PRS Global Open). Be sure to LINK to the article in question in your post. Minimum requirement: one video in each 6-month period.
- Interact with our social media channels by liking, commenting, sharing, re-posting or posting your own content and tagging us (@prsjournal and @prsglobalopen)! Minimum requirement: 3 interactions per 6-month period.
- Participate in the #PRSJournalClub Q&As on our PRS Facebook page by asking the authors a question. Minimum requirement: 2 iterations per 6-month period.
- Participate by SHARING and VOTING on the monthly #FacetheCase videos on our PRS Global Open Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram page. Minimum requirement: 2 iterations per 6-month period.
- Serving as a peer reviewer for PRS and PRS Global Open. Minimum requirement: 1 iteration per 6-month period.
Pre-Plastic Surgery Residents with Medical Degrees including General Surgery Residents, Research Fellows, Postdocs, etc. must actively participate in
3 of the 4 activities to remain members of the PRS and PRS Global Open Resident Advisory Board:
- Create and share at least ONE less-than-one-minute video on your own social media channel(s) every quarter promoting and linking to a recent PRS or PRS Global Open article and tagging us (@PRSJournal for PRS; @PRSGlobalOpen for PRS Global Open). At this time, Medical Students or other interested parties without Medical Degrees (M.D.) or local equivalent are not eligible to be members of the Resident Advisory Board.
Membership is considered on a rolling basis and updated quarterly.
