PURPOSE OF THIS CONSULTATION
This online form ensures the success of your Soft Curl Perm service by evaluating your hair's length, density, condition, texture, and chemical history to prevent adverse reactions. It also helps us identify your hair goals and schedule the most suitable services. Note: Soft Curl Perm services are available Wednesday to Saturday.

SERVICE PRICING NOTICE:
Final pricing is based on hair length, density, rod size, and product usage.

Clients with higher density or longer hair may require additional time and product to safely complete the service.

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR APPOINTMENT
1. Complete the Form: Fill out and submit the Soft Curl Perm consultation form.

2. Review Process: Ms. CeCe (Stylist) will review your form and offer personalized recommendations based on your hair's condition. Additional details may be requested as needed.

3. Response: Expect an email response within 72 business hours. Our appointment coordinator, Joy, is available Tuesday to Saturday, 8 AM to 4 PM. You'll receive a confirmed appointment quote and summary regarding your hair's suitability.

4. Confirm Your Appointment: Review the personalized quote and respond with your preferred dates via email or text to our Client Service Coordinator.

5. Secure Your Booking: Submit payment for your selected Soft Curl Perm service or choose a payment plan option to finalize your appointment.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Clients may be offered placement on the ECS Priority Waitlist depending on availability and scheduling demand. Estimated wait times may range from 1–4 weeks.
- A response is required within 72 hours (3 days) to schedule your appointment. Failure to respond will forfeit the booking.

- We will take non-identifiable photos/videos for social media to showcase our services.

  • HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HAIR DENSITY

    “Density is determined by measuring the circumference of your ponytail when all of your hair is gathered together.”

    Your measurement does not need to be exact. This gives us an initial understanding of your hair’s fullness and thickness.

    Hair density is one of the primary factors that determines your service time, product usage, and final pricing. This is why we measure density before confirming your service investment.

    Higher density hair requires significantly more time. In some cases, the winding process alone may take up to 2 hours — equivalent to completing a full service on lower-density hair.

  • SOFT CURL PERM DURATION AND LONGEVITY

    The duration of your Soft Curl Perm depends on the tightness of the curl and the overall health of your hair. Generally, a Soft Curl Perm will last between 2 to 3 months. Typically, the tighter the perm, the longer it will maintain its shape. Regular maintenance and proper hair care can help extend the life of your perm.

  • Damaged Hair Recommendations

    If your hair is not suitable for a Soft Curl Perm, we recommend our Transition to Perm Service plan to strengthen and prepare your hair. Revitalize your hair with our Damaged Hair Rebuilding Treatment:

    - Allow your hair to heal with treatments, time, and trims.
    - Reduce or stop using heating tools 3-4 weeks before your Permanent Wave.
    - Hair that is brittle, dry, shedding, or breaking should not be permed until treated with Hair Rebuilding Treatments.
    - Highly Recommended: Revitalize with our in-salon Damaged Hair Rebuilding Treatment, which restores strength and provides essential nutrients. We recommend 3-5 sessions at $120 per session.

    A Damaged Hair Repair Kit is also available for at-home use.

  • SOFT CURL PERM CANCELLATION SNAPSHOT

    WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
    Soft Curl Perm cancellations, modifications, and rescheduling requests must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

    Additional cancellation details and acknowledgment are located near the end of this consultation.

  • SOFT CURL PERM LATE ARRIVAL

    Clients are granted a 10-minute grace period for scheduled appointments.

    Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late who can still be accommodated may be subject to a $25 Late Arrival Fee.

    Excessive lateness may require appointment modification, abbreviated services, or rescheduling.

    DAY OF SOFT CURL APPOINTMENT

    - Be prepared! Have a few realistic options for your hair goal.
    - DO NOT SHAMPOO THE HAIR 3 DAYS BEFORE A SOFT CURL PERMANENT WAVE SERVICE. Hair should not be excessively dirty, sweaty or oily.

    1. Arrive with your hair blown out and/or in a stretched style. Not coming with stretched hair will result in a higher quote and/or possibly cancellation.

    2. We recommend washing, conditioning, detangling, applying a light product and either twisting, loosely braiding, or blow drying and wrapping your hair.

    3. Ensure your hair is as tangle and snarl-free as possible.

    Arrive with MINIMAL TO no products on your hair before your appointment.
    - Ensure your hair is Detangled (Comb-able from Root to Ends)
    - If you have split ends or it has been more than 4 months since your last trim. We highly recommend a Cut or Trim.

    It is best to trim your hair along with your Soft Curl Permanent Wave service to ensure bouncy defined curl definition.

    - Do not wear your favorite piece of clothing
    and/or jewelry!

    - Pack a snack! ECS provides beverages and light snacks. Soft Curl Permanent Wave appointments can last 2-5ish hours.

    - Factor in at-home hair care to your salon visit budget. We do our part to make your hair looks amazing, however as soon as a client walks out the door it is the client's responsibility to maintain their investment!

    Salon quality Shampoo and haircare maintenance products are highly recommended for optimal results.

    - Budget for good products! There are products specifically designed to preserve and prolong your Soft Curl Permanent Waved hair.

    Before committing to a Soft Curl Permanent Wave service, we recommend that you take into account the cost of good products to maintain your chemically treated hair.

  • THE PROCESS: TIME FACTOR

    CONSIDER THE PROCESS
    A Soft Curl Perm is a detailed, multi-step service that requires precision, time, and customization.

    Services typically range from 2½ to 4½ hours, depending on hair length, density, and rod size selection.

    Density & Time Awareness:
    Higher density hair requires significantly more time for proper sectioning and winding.

    For example:
    The winding process alone on high-density hair may take up to 2 hours, which is equivalent to completing an entire service on a lower-density client.

    Service Time Reference:
    Short length, normal density services typically average approximately 2½ hours
    Higher density, longer length, or detailed curl patterns will require additional time

    Hair Health Requirement:
    Soft Curl Perm services cannot be safely performed on damaged, bleached, or compromised hair without prior preparation.

    Clients with compromised hair may require 3–5 Hair Rebuilding Treatment sessions before proceeding with a chemical service.

  • SOFT CURL PERMANENT WAVE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DAMAGED HAIR CLIENTS

    DAMAGED HAIR RECOMMENDATIONS

    If your hair is not suitable for a Soft Curl Permanent Wave service at this time, we will recommend a Hair solution plan to prepare your hair for a Soft Curl Permanent Wave service.

    - Allow your hair to heal through Hair Treatments, Time and/or Trims.
    - Reduce or stop the use of ALL heating tools 1-2 months before a Soft Curl Permanent Wave service.
    - Hair that is already damaged (brittle, dry, shedding or breaking) should not be permed until the clients’ hair is treated with a series of Hair Rebuilding Treatments
    - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - Bring your hair back to life with our Damaged Hair Rebuilding Treatment.

    Our In- Salon Damaged Hair Rebuilding Treatment gives substance and strength to damaged hair and supplies the hair with its essential missing nutrients. 3-5 sessions recommended.

  • CLIENT TARDINESS & LATE START NOTICE

    All clients are granted a 10-minute grace period for scheduled appointments.

    After 15 minutes, ECS reserves the right to:

    • Charge a Late Start Fee
    • Modify or abbreviate services
    • Reschedule the appointment
    • Require a new deposit when applicable

  • STYLIST LATE START / SERVICE DELAY NOTICE

    Working with textured, curly, coily, and specialty services can be highly customized and time-intensive. While we strive to remain on schedule, occasional delays may occur.

    There may be a wait of up to 15 minutes before your appointment begins.

    If ECS is running behind schedule, we will make every effort to notify you via text message approximately 30–60 minutes prior to your appointment, when possible.

    If your appointment begins more than 15 minutes late due to ECS scheduling delays, service compensation may be offered at stylist discretion.

    Compensation options may include:

    • Service discount ($10–$30)
    • Complimentary add-on service
    • Credit toward a current or future appointment

    Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize service quality, customization, and hair integrity for every guest.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY ACKNOWLEDGMENT

    Soft Curl Perm cancellations, modifications, and rescheduling requests must be completed at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

    Failure to provide adequate notice may affect:

    • Future scheduling eligibility
    • Deposits when applicable
    • Appointment reservations or rebooking privileges
