CHS honors veterans with Veterans Day Program

The Air Force JROTC at Carrollton High School held its annual Veterans Day recognition program today. This tradition has been a part of the JROTC program since its inception at CHS in 2006. In addition to organizing the veterans recognitions, the cadets showcased their drill team, performing arts groups performed and the Carrollton Middle School and CHS bands played patriotic music.

CMS eighth graders named REACH Scholars

On Monday, five eighth-graders from Carrollton Middle School were given a life-changing opportunity when they joined the REACH Georgia Scholars program. Their commitment was made possible because of the unwavering support of their families, mentors, and community members.

Crossing guard named Outstanding Crossing Guard of the Year

Ms. Linda Houston was chosen as GA Safe Routes to School's Outstanding Crossing Guard of the Year for the region! Carrollton City Schools is fortunate to have wonderful crossing guards like Ms. Houston who work hard each and every day to keep its students safe.

CHS Performing Arts to compete in state competition for "The Lost Boy"

Carrollton High School Performing Arts will head to Milledgeville this weekend to compete in the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) State One Act Play Championships on Nov. 11 with its version of "The Lost Boy."

CUES students celebrate National STEM Day

Mr. Young’s STEM students constructed miniature hydraulic equipment models to seamlessly translate into the class’s engaging farming simulator. They explored the merging of technology and agricultural advancements to celebrate National STEM Day earlier this week.

CES spelling bee fun

In the spelling bee at Carrollton Elementary School earlier this week, second and third grade students showcased not just spelling skills but also a celebration of academics and language exploration. Congratulations to all students who participated!
