Graham's words at 16 months

Graham started walking the day before he was officially 16 months. He was in no hurry to be mobile. It started out looking like Frankenstein but he is a lot more comfortable roaming around now. He will be running in no time!

His first word was ow
daddy
ouch
uh-ho
oh-no
no
mama and mommy
pease-please
puff
nana-banana
a ka ka- cracker or cookie
baby
I-wa-dow- I want down
me-mow- mickey mouse

wuff-wuff- dog

mow mow mow- meow

He knows his head, nose, eyes, ears, mouth, toes, belly and sticks his tongue out when you ask where his tongue is.  He loves to wave but hates it whenever daddy leaves.

He loves his Mickey Mouse.  I don't mind, who doesn't love Mickey?  I think it's cute because he's never watched the cartoons or anything.  It was all from a pair of pajamas and a book.

He currently likes to hide things around the house.  Often in drawers or cupboards, sometimes the washing machine.  The funniest was Andy's key-card for work.  We looked everywhere and the next day we were in the kitchen and Graham came in and started to play in the Tupperware cupboard again, and then we noticed he is retrieving the key-card. He hid it in there, the one place we didn't check.

Special day for Max

Max had his special birthday this year.  He turned lucky number 8. He also chose to be baptized. We had such an amazing day, filled with the spirit and lots of love.  I'm so proud of my buddy.  His testimony is so pure and strong, he really understood the covenants he was making.  I hope that he will always remember this day and how he felt.  It was amazing! We are so grateful for the family members that made the effort to be here and support Max.  We have amazing friends, primary teachers and leaders.  Way to go Max!!! Eight is GREAT! I love my family and the Gospel.

I made a Baymax cake for the boys birthday to celebrate with family when we got back from California.  It turned out better than I thought it would. It was super fun to make!

I need to find the other pictures but I figured it was better to try and catch up on all of these events and add pics later.

Disneyland and Legoland Surprise 2015

Image

We woke the boys up at 4:30 am and told them to get in the car, we were going out to breakfast before we took them to school.  Explaining that's why it was still so dark outside.  They were a little groggy.  We passed Kneaders and said we needed gas.  At the gas station I got birthday bags out of the trunk filled with new clothes for summer and tickets for Disneyland and Lego land.  Their reactions were priceless!  Max said," but mom I have to go to school today.  We have school!"

I'm pretty sure the hotel is the best part of Legoland.  Don't tell my kids ;)

Such a great vacation!  We sure love our family time!  Maybe Graham will love the beach someday...

Graham's first flight and my birthday fun.

Waiting at the airport.  We flew to California for the weekend to have some adventures at one of our favorite places, Magic Mountain.
Image
We had a blast!!! We didn't take enough pictures though.  We were too busy fitting in as many rides as possible :) We celebrated with a birthday dinner at Black Angus that night, and then had a delicious dinner with my California family the next day. It was a short trip but we loved it.

This guy was ready to fly!  He was in heaven!

While we had some downtime we checked out Sprinkles.  The coconut one is tasty but the rest were just okay.  Definitely overpriced cupcakes in my opinion.  You have to admit the ATM idea for 24 hour cupcake access is brilliant!
Image
A trip to California is never complete without some humor from my sweet 90 year old grandpa.  The M&M candy dish was empty...

Graham is quite attached to those darn binkies.

We will see you in a few weeks for Disneyland!

This is how I feel about our baby turning one.

It feels like this was yesterday, and we are so blessed at how things turned out.

What a great year of fun this little guy has brought into our family!  We don't know what we'd do without him!  One year stats- 16 lbs and not even on the charts...he eats a ton, I swear.  The boy loves food.  About 40% for height. I'm not worried, Max did the same thing, they are just busybodies. Graham is such a happy kid. He can stand by himself, but hates it.  He crawls,  and walks with assistance but prefers being held. He claps. waves, point to his nose and belly, shows you his tongue, knows his head, ears, eyes and loves Mickey Mouse.  He also has a few words and talks a lot of gibberish.  We are so blessed to be able to celebrate with family.
