Winter Wonderland

We have had quite the snowfall this past couple of days. It created our own little winter wonderland in our neighborhood. Here are some pictures of Sheraden and our dogs having fun in the snow. By the time the snow stopped on Thursday night, we had 12 inches of snow in our yard. It is so strange that something so beautiful can cause so much chaos. We had to cancel our patients tomorrow due to snow and "ice". The high is supposed to be only 24 degrees tomorrow. Hope you enjoy our photos.

Fun on the snowy mountain
My daughter Lauren came home from a tour in Iraq right around Thanksgiving time. It was truely a time to give thanks for her safe return. She planned a wonderful snowy, Christmas getaway for us up on Mt. Baker. She rented a lovely, cozy cabin for 3 nights and we spent December 23-26 up there. Mitch,Sheraden,Lauren and Baron all decided to take a snowboarding lesson. I just went as the official photographer. They had a blast and wore themselves out. It was so fun just to watch them having such a great time. LeAnn and Russ stayed at the cabin with our dog Rusty. (Thanks guys) On Christmas day we all went back up the mountain to go sledding. It was a mini blizzard and the wind was blowing the falling snow in our faces like a sandblaster. We managed to each have a few runs down the hill with our sleds, before we knew we should start back down to Glacier where the cabin was. It was nice to be together like that and I will cherish the memories always. Here are some pictures of our trip.
