well yes, it has been a month since my last blog. and a lot has happened since then. so to start off, i have finally found my formal dress. if you want to see it, you'll have to look at my friendster for it. it took a while, but yes, i am in possession of a red dress, slinky much? and while i am on the topic of formal, i will just have to inform you that i have gotten myself a formal date. yes, that's right people, someone actually asked this bitch to the formal. so screw you guys who thought it would never happen. hahaha. his name is michael de salvo, he is half chinese, half italian. haha another eurasian. i am not as excited as everyone else, but whatever, i just want to get it over and done with now. i will post some pics when it's happened, so you're gonna have to wait until the 23rd of august, or probably later.

and also, what has happened is WORLD YOUTH DAY SYDNEY 2008. it was the most amazing experience i have ever had. i really won't be able to explain how it all went but i had so much fun!! so to explain it, i have some pictures. they say pictures paint a thousand words, omg so lame. anyways, enjoy :)

i'm feeling: yes, i love holidays!!

okay okay so i'm useless, and the worst procrastinator. i truly attempt to update this blog as regularly as i can. okay, i lie, i'm too lazy to do anything. so in case anyone cares, which no one does, but it's alright, cos i do haha, i have finished exams and work experience. exams were alright, nothing too bad or whatever, i did the best of my ability, which is not much sadly.

so anyways, i had work experience. which is just a week of doing whatever we want, trying out jobs that we may want to do in the future. that's for the smart people who are organised. for the rest of us, who couldn't be bothered to search for an employer who would take us on for a week, did different tafe courses. it's not my fault, not many morgues wanted to allow a seveteen-year-old teenage monster to run around there. so instead i, along with the rest of the drunks in grade 12 decided to elope away from marymount college and into mackintosh international college to do a bar and rsa (responsible service of alcohol) course. it was quite interesting, we got the best teacher and three breaks. although it was situated in the promiscuous palm beach, we were located among many shops and cafes, and of course, the beach. this was best for all of us, especially the guys as they could go swimming during our lunch break.

in our course, we started off with responsible service of alcohol, we were taught how to refuse service to any unduly intoxicated persons, those who were just disturbing anyone, and of course, those under 18 years old. we had various exams, which were easy and we all managed to pass. which makes all 60 something of us eligible to work in bars. woot!! we then got to do beer pulling, oh dear, they let underaged people drink glasses of beer, which tasted crappy anyways. the guys got excited, as if they've never drunken alcohol before. they stole some of the spirits, ooooh excitement. then we did crap on hygiene and then the history of coffee. overall, it was pretty good, we managed to find good shops and an awesome book shop. so HA to all of you who bag palm beach, it isn't that bad.

tomorrow i am going dress shopping again for formal, the first time was a disaster, as we couldn't find a dress for me, cos i didn't like any of them. i know, i am so picky, but as soon as i get one, then i can relax and focus on more important dilemmas. anyways, here are some designs that i am thinking of, not necessarily the colours, but yes, something like these:

thank god haha. my mum allowed me to stay home cos i had a massive headache cos i had to walk to work from school yesterday. IN THE GODDAMN RAIN. i love rain, i do, but not when i'm wearing an ugly school uniform and jumper. with the wind blowing my skirt up multiple times. too many marilyn monroe moments.

so it was jennie's 18th on the weekend, and it was fun as. we played singstar and there was so much food. seriously i almost died from eating so much.. but i liked it :) i was so excited cos i had never played singstar before, and when i did, i amazed myself and my friends by getting TOTALLY SINGSTAR in material girls by madonna. hell yeah bitches, i'm that good. all those many days of practicing in the shower paid off. there was me, carmen, sarah, maddy, tegan, danni, rachel, kat, sam, michelle and of course jennie and her sister nicole. it was fun for me. i enjoyed hogging the microphones and battling against people.

what can i say? there really is nothing else to say. my life is pretty crappy, ooh but wait, i have exams next week. whoop-dee-doo. makes my life that much better. :( i miss brunei.

yesterday was fun! i got ready and took the bus to burleigh, met danni and then we watched maddy attempt to get petrol, but she went through the wrong lane. it was funny cos she had to u-turn through the traffic light, thus wasting more petrol. she took us to pac fair where we met carmen at starbucks. hmmm then we went shopping for jennie's 18th. it's gonna be coolness. then we went to watch 21. it's an awesome movie and the guy is so cute, i would love to play blackjack like them! then me and danni took the bus home, it was already dark and so she got off at burleigh while i stayed and went all the way to palm beach. people really don't realise how scary palm beach is at night, unless you live there. so i was shitting myself as i got off the bus in the dark. and prayed that some freak gangster would not find me appealing to kidnap or rape. so luckily my sister went to meet me so it was all good.

who do i want to win in big brother? i want either renee or ben to win, renee because she's awesome and ben because he's hot. ahhhh nothing interesting has happened. stupid school tomorrow. gotsta do my chem assignment.

well well, what did i talk about last time? oh yes, my wallet is still safe with me. new girl is good, steph, other new girl is awesomeness. not too many assignments left :) cos i'm a good girl and did them all. not too much has happened. uhmmm well school's normal, nothing too interesting. our class play in drama is going crappy, we keep getting off topic in everything and uhhh the sun is hardly ever out so we take advantage of the sun spot. gahhhh can't think of anything to say.

OOOOH GOOD NEWS!! I FOUND MY WALLET!! well, i didn't actually find it, but at school i got called into the office and they told me that someone handed in my wallet to the palm beach police station. so i went there and got my precious back and i was like this --> :) very very happy.

nothing much has happened. ben's birthday was on the 7th and mum's was on the 8th. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH OF YOU!! then i had to train a new girl at work today, it was pretty good. she's really nice. uhmmm well, why am i shitty? that's easy... I HAVE SO MANY STUPID ASSIGNMENTS DUE!! i have one or more due in every single subject i have. i have to do my english draft by wednesday, maths draft due soon, drama draft due a few days ago, tourism presentation due in two weeks, biology report and EEI due next month, chemistry report due in 4 weeks, R.E stupid brochure due in 3 weeks.

i hate school.

nothing else to say, except that it's mothers day tomorrow. i'm now off to do some stupid feature article on the human condition. whoop-dee-doo.

omg i have been having the shittest week ever!! well, it started off okay. school was boring, nothing interesting happened. friday was alright-ish, at the beginning cos we had QCS but that was shit, don't feel like explaining that. but it was PETA BURNS' 18TH!! haha she had the hugest bunch of balloons tied to her desk in the hall where we had our exam practice. then after that was the shit, i had trouble at work. don't feel like explaining that either, cos it's pretty confidential-ish.

then on saturday was the BIGGEST PIECE OF SHIT TO ADD TO MY SHIT CAKE OF A WEEK. on saturday i went to see maddy so she could help me with my drama. then we met tegan and danni and went op-shopping for the social. that was pretty good. but THEN i took the bus home and i can't believe it happened, but I LOST MY FREAKING WALLET!! of all things in the bottom of my bag to fall out, IT HAS TO BE THE WALLET!! HELL YEAH!! whoop-de-freaking-doo. i called the bus company but they're like "sorry, you're gonna have to call surfside base, but they won't be open till tuesday" so here i am, waiting for tuesday to come so i can find out if indeed, my wallet has survived being away from me. i don't care if someone took the money or my bankcard, cos i can cancel that shit, but give me back the wallet, library card, student id, brunei ic, photos, boarding passes, TAKE THE MONEY AND LEAVE THE DAMNED WALLET!! oh yes you will be so much richer with $5 YAY.

so yes, my life is shit. but who cares? hopefully it won't get any worse.

i'm feeling: yay long weekend

i'm so happy we have along weekend. i don't enjoy school no more. although it's a bludge half the time, i do not enjoy the assignments we get for it. they suck and give me the shits. hmmmm what to say? nothing interesting has been happening, on sunday i closed shop with liam was fun though cos we had so much to do. and we just chucked everything into the backroom to wash up. so we did the washing up and slapped each other cos he was being a bitch. then on monday, hmmm oh yeah i had shitty chemistry. i hate my class no offence but they're all smart and keep to themselves. thanks guys, as if i'm not already failing and now i have no one to help me. but hopefully i'll improve soon. i'm in desperate need of a tutor. i've got two in mind haha, but i just need to get to know them first. heh.

hmmm yes then school's been pretty crap from then. oh but a good thing is that we've been watching chocolat, a movie with johnny depp and juliette binoche. it was an awesome movie hehe cos of you know who. but we're studying it for english which sucks. i hate the human condition, it's so hard to understand. so do we all strive for happiness? is that the human condition? why do we strive for blah blah crap. so yeah, then what? mmmm oh i went out for dinner with tegan, danni, maddy and robyn. it was good, we went to montezuma's, a mexican restaurant. we had fun, bitching haha not really, ate at cold rock's as well. we saw shaunyl there and other people from school.

so yes, hasn't my life been freakin' perfect? i hate you all who said that i would have a great life here and thank you to the rest who told me the truth. don't get me wrong, i mean, it's not that bad, but brunei was more home to me than the GC could ever be.

but a really good thing is that: MADDY GOT HER P's!!

now i officially can abuse her into driving me places. she's got her license and i don't even have my L's, what a loser.

so tomorrow for ANZAC day, i'm going to broadbeach with larissa and then hopefully i can go to danni's house for a movie night of lame movies cos her parents, sister and her boyfriend will be out. yay! ooooh everybody watch this, okay so i'm obsessed with them, so what? i don't care, I LOVE THEM!! especially ryan ross. but listen to brendon's voice from 0:44 - 1:10, it's beautiful, i love it. 26 seconds of his voice makes my heart stop. but then again, two seconds of ryan's voice makes my heart stop too. in the second video below this one, watch from 0:38 - 0:40 omg ryan is so hot and his voice.

yes yes i have decided to blog again. since last week i have been at the beach with carmen, ben, matt, sarah and adrian. we just mucked around and then walked to stockies. it was pretty good until they left me to go to pacca's just cos i was working. darned dit. but it's okay.

then now i'm back at school, fuck school i still hate it. i mean, at least mr. murphy has given up on picking on me. i guess he knows that i fight back now, and i'm not gonna take his shit. our conversation kinda went like this:

murph: "margaret, what have you decided?"

me: "sorry?"

murph: "for your bioethics... *mumble*"

me: "sorry, i can't understand you" *me thinking oh shit i haven't done any of the work*

murph: "you do that again, it's RTC" *everyone looks at me shocked*

me: "huh? i can't hear you."

murph: "what have you decided for your bioethics assignment?"

me: "ohh... dunno."

murph: "that can't happen, you can't say i don't know."

me: "okay then."

yes, i did fight back, australia is a bad influence since i never talk back to teachers. and also, the RTC stands for "Responsible Thinking Centre". it's like detention but a lame version where you write plans and crap on what you did wrong blah blah shit. chyeah, i was gonna go there, that's why everyone looked at me shocked. i was just thinking "i don't give a shit, send me to the RTC, the assignment isn't due until july or something."

whoop-dee-doo, i love school.

ohhh but there is good news. i'm going to see these guys in august!!

how awesome is that?? i got the tickets i wanted and we're right near the front, close to the stage. i can't wait to see them!! i'm so excited, but i haven't asked my mum's permission yet, but she'll probably let me go so that i don't waste my money. $87.95 per ticket okay? but it's all worth it!! i hope we get to see them after the show. i am desperate to see them, especially brendon and ryan. so hot!!

and the reason why i'm so sickened, it's because of this disgusting video called 2 girls 1 cup. trust me, DO NOT WATCH IT!! it almost made me puke, but i lasted through the whole minute of pure grossness. but it's really funny watching people's reactions, especially the ones that gag a lot. so yes, it's been pretty interesting ay? missing brunei so much. i shall now give you a quick run-down on parts of the gold coast; according to me :)

h'okay so here we goooo.

palm beach (where i live): "gangster", probably where most of the povos live. even in the newspaper it said that most of the prostitutes found on the GC are right there on the palm beach part of the gold coast highway. yep, it's great. home to the palmy army.

burleigh: very beachy, where most people go i guess for the beach, main part.

miami: pretty much the same as palm beach and robina mixed. apparently the high school is pretty bad, but dunno, i like one of my friends who goes there.

nobby, mermaid and broadbeach: you shall find pacific fair here and it's great, best shopping centre, and putt putt too!! they're quite small parts but better than palm beach, no offense to the palmys.

clear island waters: very developed, got lots of buildings. close to bond uni. this leads into...

varsity lakes: probably the poshest out of all the parts. the school is freaking posh and clean.

robina: robina is almost like palm beach, but i dunno, probably not as bad. haven't been there properly yet so.. yeah.

tallebudgera: they are the inland mountain people haha. furthest from the beach i guess, very green and golfy.

elanora: very sweet, small place, almost like tally but not so mountainy. mostly streets from what i've seen.

currumbin: home to the wildlife sanctuary, with tugun, they're small villagy places with corner shops and stuff.

tugun: look up above, they're connected.

coolangatta: very surfy, all the surfy shops are located there and closest to nsw.

i can't say anything about the other parts cos i haven't been there. i stick very close to home and don't feel like venturing up to ashmore or southport thankyouverymuch :)

i'm feeling: in love woooooow

well yes OMG i've decided to start blogging again, since i surprisingly seem to have a lot of time on my hands. so yes i am on school holidays and they haven't been going as good as i hoped. but i went to putt putt and that was awesome!! me, dani, tegan and maddy decided to chose the fun run. we all got at least one hole-in-one except for dani hahaha. and then we went to pac fair to eat. then sadly, i had to leave for work. so took the bus to stockies and i think it was sezz and callum was on the same bus.

arriving at stocklands i quickly got dressed in my exciting new work shirt, brown whoop-dee-doo. i was working and closing with the wonderful liam who likes to annoy the hell out of me. we have a new saying, whenever we find something interesting, we go "WOOOOOOOOOW" in a high-pitched voice. okay, only we would get how funny it is. we closed, got ice cream and i left him to his sorry self on the sidewalk to go home cos he's a loooooner :D

then the next day i took my favourite sister to the movies to watch this movie:

yes it's that movie about the insane schoolgirls who decide to save their school from being shutdown. it was an alright movie but i don't think i'd watch it more than once. watch it if you like lame chick flicks.

then on wednesday i had to go to work, i was late but thanks to tegan's parents, i actually made it there. i am so grateful for them being so nice. so opening the store was alright, i did it in a record time of 5 mins unlike the time i usually take. which is 30 mins. then sue came and we watched the humphrey bear show that was in front of us. i was surprised that people from school were at stockies and said hi to me :D like ben, dani, adrian, emma and blake. i think sue was getting sick of all these people cos usually i never had any friends talk to me at work. and now i do so HA! then i went to annoy ben at the reject shop where he works and i bought a hoodie from jay jays which i love.

yesterday, me and miriam had an adventure. we took the bus from our house to burleigh heads, we walked to burleigh street in an attempt to catch the bus to burleigh waters. we are so good at map reading that we arrived at christine avenue where we walked to agi's house. i dropped her off there to go camping and so agi and her sister took me back home. where i did nothing for the rest of the day. whoop. oooooh but i'm reading the greatest book ever made. it's called twilight, if you haven't read it yet, START NOW! the movie will have the oh-so-freaking-hot robert pattinson. yes, you will know him as cedric diggory from the harry potter series.

oh my god he is so hot. but he's even better described in the book. *drools* he's perfect.

another new discovery i made was the newly released album from panic at the disco. people are going crazy about how the dropped the ! well oh dear get over it. it has some pretty good songs on it, different to their first album but i still like it. my fav songs have to be: she had the world and i have friends in holy spaces. have a listen to them on youtube, they're pretty good.

i'm feeling: gah my freakin' eye!!

well yes, plenty has happened in the past few days. firstly, i am now a seventeen year old, with a pay rise and freakin' throbbing eye. my birthday was alright, not that interesting. just went to school and yeah, fun. anyways yes i am now a few 357 days until i am 18 and legal. so yes, interesting huh?

it's been more than a week since that day. there's been issues at work, which i won't go into as it is all confidential. i've also received countless amounts of assignments, oral presentations, drafts of everything. i'm going to go back to my old habits, of working into the early hours of the morning with about 3-4 hours of sleep per night. it is not nice and i don't want it.

thank you to all the people who greeted me on my birthday, fuck you to all who didn't. just kidding. haha i don't mean it. anyways yeah school has been good, not the work but yes, i've been making friends and i've been invited to two parties next month. HA! fuck you people who thought i would suck at school.

anyways, i have to now do my tourism speech. we had to go into pairs and do a role-play on different cultures and stuff. yeah lucky for me, i get to go with ben. haha he's awesome and our role-plays are gonna be psycho ones. "hello people of different cultures. welcome to australia" with crazy hand actions and over acting. i am screwed for english and everything. damnit i just wanna sleep all day and run around.

oh yes, we also had our swimming carnival. it's funny because no one in year 12 takes it seriously. they just do flips in and paddle around and just muck around in the races. like in one of the races, the guys all went into one lane and just paddled to the end. it's like that too in the athletics one. people get dressed up and everything, it's so interesting. i love all the different costumes.

anyways, that's my life so far haha. watching bridget jones and trying to make my script not suck. love you all haha and wish i was still there with you.
