We had a great time last Sunday night at Mom and Dad's celebrating January birthdays. We have all of ours plus Trevor and Mitch!

Got the Primary bulletin board done, thankfully my photo's of my paintings from the last ward printed up well. The kids wrote how they will walk with Jesus this year on the footprints.

Mary's birthday was also the 100th day of school. Fran was so excited about it! The wig was itchy though.

We love Mary and had fun celebrating her this week. She is already 18, about to graduate and has her mssion call. So crazy. I still remember shielding her from the manequin at Babe's and holding her for week when she had rotavirus. We are excited for her, she has a lot going on!

Joe switched out the crooked off-centered chandelier for a brighter less in the way light. I like it a lot better.

Heber had his first vex competition yesterday. He did awesome, even though he was nervous. It was fun watching him drive his robot that he helped design and build.

We got to see Brigham and Madi on Friday night and Spencer yesterday. It was fun visiting with them this weekend. Lucy is doing really well.

Happy 13th Birthday Marjorie! Mary's Honor Band

Image

Happy 13th Birthday Marjorie! We love you so much! We kind of celebrated her all week because she had a huge list of places she wanted to go to get free birthday items. She went in by herself and got them all. I am so proud! She got free stuff at Taco Bell, Starbucks, Ulta, Sephora, Chik Fil a, Panda Express, Maverick, Crumble, Panera, Dutch Bros, Bath n Body. Let's just say it was a lot of running around.

She had friends over Friday night. I didn't have anything to do with it since she is not supposed to have a party on odd years. She got lots of gifts even though she told her friends no gifts. They had ice cream sundaes. I didn't even go down so I don't have any pics. She got to go to lunch with my Mom on her actual birthday, thanks Mom!

Her YW leaders put this sign in the yard.

Mary's last Honor Band Concert was Thursday night. It was AWESOME! The video's are on Instagram. She did a great job, I am thankful for the talents she has developed and for all the growth band has helped her with. She is a wonderful person and hard worker. I am excited for her!

Yesterday we had a Stake activity where we did a variety of service projects and had lunch. Sarah was asked to give a spiritual thought to start it off and she did an amazing job. I didn't get a pic with her because she left early for her workout.

We are headed to Mom and Dad's in a bit to celebrate January birthdays. Madi and Mary are this week. Lucy has had a really hard week. She has strep and Hand/foot/mouth virus. She thought she was done but got a new sore on her hand last night. Her companion is trying to get huge numbers, so they may have infected a lot of people. The kids got to go to the temple on Tuesday night with YM/YW, they got to see Brady and Luke there. It was so crowded though, they didn't get home until 10:30. Heber has met his goal of going weekly so far. Not sure how we will be able to keep that up but we will try.

Happy 23rd Birthday Brigham!!!

Image

We got to have Brigham, Madi and Spencer up here yesterday, they left early this morning. Brigham and Madi are headed to Disneyland one more time before their passes expire. We had fun eating chinese food, playing games and spending time together. We are thankful for Brigham and hope he has an amazing year!

Brigham asked for books this year, he got several of them that he was expecting. But we surprised him with a mission book with pictures from his mission in it. I recently found the camera he took on his two safari's and was able to add those pictures as well.

Lucy got to go to the temple again. Her and her companion have the same dresses, she is loving her companion and doing so great. She is helping other sister missionaries on splits and training at several other meetings. She is loving the Scriptures and the work.

Spencer recently turned down an offer to go oversee some additional parking at the Winter's Quarter Temple. It is awesome they asked him to manage a project like that. He was also just called to his Elder's Quorum Presidency. ( I hope it is ok that I put that in here, probably should wait a few weeks...) Good thing only a few people see this.

These four are graduating soon, Brady and Luke will be getting their calls in March. Craziness! But exciting.

We had an impromptu party on Tuesday night at 8:30 pm because we had so many things that night. We facetimed the brothers and Lucy, Gma Great and Aunt Haylee and Josh. I am sure other family got on too. We had different people on all of our phones. Thankful for technology. So excited for Mary! She will be starting on June 10th and going to the MTC on June 16th, English speaking. She graduates on May 18, we get out of school on May 22nd. She will get to see Logan but missed Trevor by one day and Lucy by a couple months. She is excited, her mission is new, it was organized in 2024.

My Mom brought beautiful flowers and balloons and waaaay too many treats! Thanks Mom!

On Monday night Marjorie and I had the chance to go to an oil painting class put on by the City. We had a great time and Marjorie did FANTASTIC!

On Tuesday morning with met with Marjorie's Dr, Joel Turtle, in Layton Primary Children's building. He showed us her MRI, where these bones joined diagonally instead of straight across like they were supposed too. He wants her to wait a couple of months and get another xray so we can see the rate her back is changing. There is a chance we don't do anything. However, if her back keeps getting worse while she is growing she will need surgery. So it was pretty good news. The vertebrae is supposed to look like the bottom rectangle.

New glasses for these two. However they are sliding off their faces a lot, so that is frustrating.

Some fun walks this week.

These 3 came to the temple with me last night. I did initatory work and then went back down to the baptistry.
