Bo Wu, an AI Researcher at MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab in Cambridge, MA.
Bo previously worked at Columbia University, New York City. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, and studied in Microsoft Research Asia (MSRA) and Academia Sinica.
His research interests encompass deep learning, multimodal learning, computer vision, and natural language understanding, with a focus on visual, linguistic, and user behavior understanding, forecasting, and reasoning.
He has organized challenges and workshops, including the ACM MM SMP Challenge, CVPR/ICCV Workshops on MVCS and MMFM. He has also served in key roles such as Track Chair, Area Chair, Senior Program Committee Member, and Program Committee Board Member for major conferences, including ACM Multimedia, AAAI, IJCAI, and ICMR, etc.
