rayce in crowns.

before rayce learned to crawl away and escape, the poor boy had to play a lot of dress up with his big sister! bri loved dressing him up in crowns or hats and playing princess and king with him. haha. and it always cracked us up! but rayce is a trooper and he adores his big sister so he didn't mind. and honestly some of my very favorite pictures have rayce wearing a crown with his big sister. :)

homework.

part of our new years resolutions this year is for bri to do her "homework" everyday. she loves doing homework! some days we do a craft, like to get ready for valentines day we made hearts out of beads and pipe cleaners or we practice putting buttons through holes. some days we practice writing our letters, which she loves at first but gets bored with quickly haha. and some days when things are busy we just read some books or color. we don't have a set homework time and we miss some days but its nice to take a break from toys or tv and just have some quiet time together when rayce is napping. plus she is always so proud of herself and i love watching her learn!!

when we got back from our vacation rayce turned 4 months old! so we decided that it was time for our little guy to have some rice cereal. he wasn't too impressed with it at first but it quickly became one of his favorite things! his chubby cheeks are to die for!!!!

we had such a fun trip this christmas!!! thanks to all of our family for letting us come and invade!!

the end of 2013.

2013 was our best year yet!!! bobby started school, we went to disneyland, visited with all our family, and most importantly....our little raycer joined our family!! such an awesome year!!
we ended this year our with a fun little party at aunt granny's and pappy's. we went to lunch at a yummy mexican buffet in muscatine and then we played cards all night and ate yummy snacks until we rang in the new year. bri and a.j. got to hang out and play together all night and they had so much fun and were so good! it was a great night and a wonderful way to ring in 2014!

bri got a princess sleeping bag from grandma and papa brooksby for her birthday and she was so excited to try it out!

rayce had a few thumb sucking moments while we were there- but decided he wasn't a fan. we gave up on him taking a pacifier this trip too.

poor bri had bronchitis the second part of the trip...her and daddy spent alot of naps like this so that she could sleep up without coughing.

we celebrated bri's birthday again! im pretty sure that she thinks that the whole month of december is for opening presents and blowing out candles haha

but thats okay, cause she loves it!

white christmas

we had a wonderful christmas with all of family that we don't get to see very often! we loved playing with all the cousins and getting spoiled and loved on by grandma wolfe and aunt sky!

we spent christmas eve eating, playing cards, and opening presents at aunt granny's and pappys house with everyone. we had a quiet, relaxing christmas morning at grandma wolfes checking out all the goodies that santa brought us and opening presents before we went back over to aunt granny's and pappys for christmas lunch, more presents, and then we went sledding! :) bri loved sledding! and going fast down the hill! we actually couldn't believe how much she loved it haha. after sledding we got to facetime with everyone and see and talk to uncle preston for a few minutes! last time before he gets home!!! :) :)

we ended out the night playing cards and visiting more before we headed back to grandma wolfes. it was such a great christmas and we were so happy that we got to celebrate it with our wolfe and bromwell family this year!!
