Dan also got recruited to play on an Iowa Games football team, they played great and ended up winning the bronze medal! Way to Go Team!
The first week of August we farm-sat for a family friend and milked their cows for a week! It was a lot of work but a lot of fun! Lynn came back down to Ames for a few days to work, while Dan's brother James helped out Dan on the farm! It was great to get back to the farm and keep up those skills.
On Saturday, August 11th, we visited the the Iowa State Fair with some friends. It was fun to get to visit with some international friends, who had never experienced anything like a State Fair! Below is the Turkey Leg crew.... yum, yum!
Lynn participated in some Pi Beta Phi recruitment events to help out! It was fun to see the girls, and participate in Preference Night! Congrats to the girls on super quota plus!
Our friend Eric Borcher's stopped through last weekend, from California, with his girlfriend. It was great to catch up with him! Lynn's brother Nathan is visiting us this weekend; it's great to have him here!
