The Carleton University Dataverse Collection is part of Borealis, and is a free, bilingual research data repository for our faculty, students and staff. The platform makes it possible for researchers to deposit data, create appropriate metadata, obtain DOIs for permanent links, and maintain version control of their datasets. The repository is multidisciplinary, accepts a wide range of data types and formats, and is hosted in a secure environment on Canadian servers. Researchers can choose to make content available publicly, to specific individuals, or to keep it locked. The Carleton University Dataverse Collection is currently optimal for small to medium datasets.

Before using Borealis, the Canadian Dataverse Repository, you should read the Terms of Use here. Please note, the Carleton University Dataverse Collection cannot accept sensitive or confidential data and can only be used to share de-identified and non-confidential data.
