A nice balance of macabre and humorous with a dash of clever, somewhat subtle commentary on religious indoctrination. Cliff from Cheers shows up as a punk rocker too. Pretty tasty overall. 😋

I was so ready to be disappointed. How would Kane Parsons take his impeccable Youtube series of liminal space horror and adapt it to a traditional narrative with recognizable actors and a budget? I was entertained but nowhere near as floored by this as the O.G., but to be fair that movie has to rank among my top five of the 2010s. For the positives, I loved the kills, the superb ending, and the goat. 🐐
I did feel like it suffered from Too Many Characters Syndrome and some of the dialogue felt very throwaway. Overall, I enjoyed seeing it in the theater and I'd recommend you to do the same if you love the first movie!
