Still the greatest movie ever

Actually makes me emotional btw and I'm NOT embarrassed by that

No stars because I didn't really get it???

I love Chungking Express so much, it's absolutely one of my favorite movies, and I remember liking Happy Together a lot

I think my expectations got in the way a bit. If this was the first Wong Kar-Wai movie I watched this would have probably been a masterpiece, but I just didn't really connect with this

Let me be clear, the first 2 hours were good. Not great, not bad, just good.
Then the last 25 minutes destroyed me

This one fucking hurt
For that last little bit every single thing that happened and every sentence said just made me cry harder
It was just fucking raw, deep emotions

And the ending too like FUCK

I didn't get why this movie was so highly rated until the end, it's a slow burn but it pays off hard

I will never forget this movie and the emotions it put into me
I feel different after watching that
