This statement is exactly the reason I enjoyed this film. It feels necessary despite being uncomfortable to explore what transpires here. The grotesqueness was so prevalent in the beginning but somehow lacked in the second half, not quite resolving how I would’ve liked. A ‘happy’ ending was not necessary.…
The first half of this film was genuinely incredible.
