Following Elle-Máijá Tailfeathers' work atm and so pleased it took me to Newfoundland and lesbianism. Win win win. Quite a lovely, intimate little film which covers a lot within what isn't said, and amazing acting from both the leads. Also the way the town loses its mind over those pictures, like they don't fuck severely! It's called art, losers!

Kiarostami and Panahi!!!! Making for a very beautiful film that's full of suggestions and subtext and one of the cutest child actors of all time possibly? Sibling stories always get to me.

2. Power-couple Lawrence and Feisal
3. Asexual-gay Lawrence
4. Feeling like history was on a knifepoint and despite their best efforts neither Lawrence nor Feisal could tip it in the right direction, because at its core the power of the world has been in the hands of greedy, colonialist bastards for so long that two men - even two as driven as those two - couldn't shift that balance.
