Soundtrack, filmography, plot, cast. Everything was great! This is one of my favourite pieces addressing the Brazilian dictatorship. It hits close to home, made me very emotional many times. Likely will be my top film of the year.

So, things that I like. Daniel Craig was great, plot is engaging, although not as much as his ‘call me by your name’ for me. Things I didn’t like, chaotic filmmaking techniques and too much symbolism. I feel many things will take a long time to unpack and I did not get invested enough to want to do the intelectual labor for all of it. As a result, film is a bit long for my taste.
