Happy Hooptober! This is my 2nd year participating in Cinemonster’s Hooptober, and my 8th year tracking my October movie watching. This year I’m going for all 1st time watches. 

I became a father in August of 2021 — hence the title. We’re still getting used to the routine and responsibilities. While it’s left me with more time to hang around on the couch, it’s not great for following a movie from start to finish without multiple distractions and interruptions. 

Some of my reviews may include tidbits like “I missed something during feeding time.” So we’ll see how that goes! Also worth noting, I was born in 1981, so I’ll be watching 6 films from that year, which is fine by me. 

Just like last year, I’ll need to give myself a head start before September 15.
