The tournament is such a good format for a fighting movie. Lots of distinct characters and styles, also Dhalsm from Street Fighter is in this (brown face). Near constant action

Glad to see I gave this 5 stars, its just great. Not just the martial arts stuff but also the father son stuff, which I am usually pretty cynical about but nearly made me well up with tears here

In my memory this was a considerable improvement on the first movie, but aside from a better character design and one cool set piece, its just another disappointment. Also I'm glad we left these directors and their hideous "style" in the 2010s

Source material so good even a hack like Brett Ratner can't fuck it up
