Bath time or Showtime?

After our Easter hot dog roast Saturday night all of the tubs/showers were full, so Lincoln and Benjamin took their bath in the sink. The two little cousins splashed and played, while we took pictures. They loved the attention.

Nana & Bumpa Bender

Right before Christmas, we drove down to Arizona to visit Nana & Bumpa Bender. It was an 11hour drive and Benjamin did so good for 9hours of it. During the last two hours he wanted us to feel as miserable as he did and cried non stop. We were all happy to finally arrive. It was the first time that Benjamin and I had met Nana & Bumpa and they welcomed us with open arms. We had a wonderful visit and Bumpa took us to the zoo before we left. We love Nana & Bumpa!!

Visiting Aunt Melanie

Within the first three months of his life Benjamin went to 2 family reunions, a funeral, and other vacations. One of the trips we went on was up to see Aunt Melanie. Benjamin quickly warmed up to her, and I think she became his favorite Aunt. At least that is what it looks like to me. (My suspicion is that Logan had something to do with it.) When Benjamin finally realized that Logan wasn't going to eat him, he thought dogs were okay. Now whenever he sees any dog he starts growling and gets really excited. His two favorite dogs are Logan and Ginger.

I wanna be a cowboy

Ever since we were married Ammon has wanted to go horseback riding. We finally had that chance Labor Day weekend when we went to Bennington, ID to visit the Jensens. Ammon got to go with all the cowboys to look for cattle up in the mountains. He loved it!! When Benjamin grows up, he is going to be an animal lover just like his daddy.

Lets start at the very beginning...

Benjamin Heber was born July 14 at 4:20pm. He weighed 7lbs 3oz and was 21 inches long. We were so happy to have him here, and we are still of the opinion that he is the cutest little baby ever born!
