Here is Carter!

We welcomed Baby Carter into our lives on August 1st, 2012. He was 8 lbs and 20.5 inches - just 4 oz short of what his big brother Cooper was. He has been a huge blessing in our lives and we are so excited that Cooper has a new little buddy. Cooper loves him so much already and is always checking up and wanting to be close to little brother.

Happy, Happy Day to Mother's

I have not been on my blog in ages.  I feel that it is hard enough to keep up with Facebook, Twitter, E-mail, and my phone; I have little time to sit down and write about my family. But after celebrating my second Mother's Day I thought that I would take a moment and say how thankful I am for my family. I have a wonderful husband who works 60 hours a week, is doing his MBA, and still finds time to check off things on his "honey-do" list. He is amazing and I know that he loves us with all of his heart. I am also very thankful for my little Cooper. He tells me no, runs away, has many bumps and bruises, and is stubborn as a bull... But I love him more than anything in this entire world. I never thought that being a mom could be so amazing and so rewarding, but I must say that I have enjoyed every experience that me and my little boy have shared together. Last, I am so thankful that we will be expanding our family in August with our new little guy "Carter Richard Anderson". I can only imagine what sort of excitement that he is going to bring to the table as well!

Keeping up with the Andersons

We have been so busy these last few weeks that I can't even remember the last time we had a whole nights sleep. We ventured off to Dallas a few weeks ago so that I could play in the adult national volleyball tournament. The whole family went and we quickly learned Cooper loves the water. He refused to do anything else but to stare at the big blue bath tubImageWe took a trip by the infamous Grassy KnollImageCooper LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Jack. Luckily Jack is super good with him and lets him smother him to deathImage

Someone is getting a little too curious. I turned my back for 30 seconds and came back to this. The look of surprise when I "Caught him" Was priceless.Image

"Happy Easter" 2011

I might have gone a little overboard on the pictures, but I think that my baby is the cutest thing ever and wanted to share my whole family with everyone! We had a wonderful Easter this year! We started out with a lazy Friday; Cooper was lucky enough to have naked Friday and sleep in mom and dad's bed after he woke up in the morning

The Jensen family was out camping for the holiday, even though it was cold and raining. We bundled Cooper up in his snowsuit and headed out anyways.

Cooper found one egg... He didn't seem to think that it was too exciting quite yet

Jack was terrified with all of the shooting. He ran into the trailer, under the covers and refused to come out.

After playing outside we went back to the house to color eggs

We said goodbye to the Jensen family and headed up to see the Anderson side. We got a great picture of four generations of Lewis Andersons!

After a long weekend, Cooper was ready to get in the bath and sleep in his crib

Thanks to our families for a great first Easter with our baby boy. We had so much fun and are so thankful that we are surrounded by so many people who love us.
