Here are a few of Jackson's one year old pictures. :) 

We love this time of year. It is one birthday after another for our family. Jackson's starts us off on July 18th.  Our little baby is ONE . Jackson is growing up so fast. He weighs 20 pounds 12 ounces and is 30 inches tall. He likes to throw balls and take everything onto the kitchen floor to see how it sounds when it bangs against the floor. He enjoyed hide and seek when we take turns hiding with him. He loves stuffed animals. He waves sometimes and says "Da Da". He LOVES to play with his Daddy! That's when most of the giggles come out. Jackson is still a great sleeper - sleeping from 7 to 7 most days and still taking 2 naps. He loves Mexican food and mandarin oranges right now. He has started dancing when we turn on music - just a good body wiggle that makes us smile. He loves to sit and watch people.  Here are some picture from his birthday! Brady is taking 2 weeks off for the birthday celebrations and have a nice stay at home break - we are really enjoying ...

I almost did this post with the birthday post but it was too long. The birthday post will have to come later this week.  Jackson went through a stage where he would put the shapes in his mouth so they covered his nose and made him look like a little piggy. He would just crawl around the house and mind his own business looking like a piggy. :)  Trying on Daddy's shoes. He found the Tupperware cupboard! My kitchen floor is hard to keep clean to say the least. Family picture! I asked him to strike a pose with his hat on. :)  He will give his beaver stuffed animals and his blankey loves. Today he even gave Brady a "kiss" for the first time and we were so happy. I have noticed that he is really starting to understand what we are saying. 

Brady and I set up my very own 5k on the Fourth of July and Brady and Jackson cheered me on. :) Jackson and I have been running a lot lately. Not to get all sappy on you, but I love running so much. It makes me feel so much better about myself.  My 5k time was 24:02!! Woot woot! I'm pretty proud of myself. It doesn't match those high school or college days but hopefully I can get that time down even more!  Almost to the end!

A waking up face.  The cute little hand reaches up to grab the Cheerio. :) When he is in the right mood he will walk with us!  The new way to find this cute baby after he sleeps. A good round of Jackson initiated peekaboo! Your weekly-ish round of pool pictures. He has started to get into the cabinets which means cabinet locks. He sat right next to Brady for a good 15 minutes getting some good Father/Son time.
