I haven't been on here for a while so I will make this short as I have already been playing on here with the new design. Audi finished her first year of school!!! hooray for her!!! she did very well and learned a great deal from her awesome teachers Teacher Bobbi and Teacher Cathy. She will still be too young to move onto kindergarten next year so she will repeat the program but Lana will be joining her this next school year. i have been doing a lot of baking since my last post but maybe that will be my next post. :-) I have been trying to keep the girls busy for the summer! this has been challenging and i feel myself running out of steam quite a bit. Thinking maybe i need to start eating better again and doing my exercise dvd again. i had lost 40 lbs the last time i was eating right and doing my dvd exercises...however i fell off the wagon.......then it ran me over......then it backed up over me!! hahaha... i didn't gain it all back though so that's good...i gained about 6 lbs back over a period of about 5 months. so that puts me at 216 lbs. yes you read that right!!! I like to set small goals that are easier to reach and then as i reach that goal i set a new one...that way there isn't so much time between gratification. ;-) my first goal is just to loose 17 lbs. id love to be under 200 lbs. ahhh to put a 1 in front of my weight instead of a 2...i cant remember the last time i was under 200. i can totally do it. i mean its not like i do'nt like fruits and vegetables....i just love cake too...hahahaha. Image well i am super tired now and i need to put my loves to bed so i must say goodbye!!! ***ADIOS***

B Day Blast

Ok sooo where to start....Lets go back a ways shall we? Well like 2 weeks back(i think) a pretty bad rain storm came thru and yes it flooded my house. Ardell and I were in the living room and Audi who was suppose to be sleeping comes running out of the bedroom yelling "Water, water momma, water!" when Ardell and I go in there sure enough water so deep our feet were submerged. We were freaking out trying to grasp what was happening and trying to figure out what to do first because it was still just flowing in the house. The water level was 3 inches or so up the outside of the door. We both ran around unplugging everything and trying to keep Audi and Lana out of the water so they don't get electrocuted. We had the TV on the floor because we didn't have anything sturdy enough for it yet. The water was already pretty deep under the TV. Soo scary. So Ardelly called the landlord and I grabbed my trusty mop and bucket. It took about 5 hours but i got all the water up and mopped the floor and got all the furniture back in place. I had thought the water was all coming in from under the door but when it was just about all up i noticed it was seeping under the bedroom wall as well. None of our stuff was harmed so that was good. The fact that the landlord has not made any effort to fix the problem however is not so good....On top of that we talked to our neighbors who were moving out and asked them a couple questions about the place they were in which is owned by the same man ours is. UMMMM...yeah. They took us on a tour around the place they'd been living in. RIDICULOUS!! They had NO a/c and only one tiny little window a/c in the living room for the whole house. no no no. that's crazy. It was running when we went inside and a thermometer on the wall read over 100 degrees. Oh and that's just the beginning. Its a 2 bedroom 1.5 bath with a basement. However the basement is full of asbestos and mold because its constantly flooding(the mold part anyway). Shall I keep going? Apparently he planted a huge tree in the back yard and planted it too close to the house so its causing the back porch/laundry room(whatever it is) to actually start pulling away from the house!!! You can see the gap between the house and that room in the ceiling and a crack running along the foundation. Needless to say every time it rained it rained in that room.. There is sheets of plastic over most of the windows because the windows weren't sealed well so the air was just flowing thru the place which isn't good especially during the winter when you are trying to warm up with no heating system besides a floor heater. We proceeded to tell her about our flood to which she stopped us short saying "Wait, he didn't tell you that place floods?" hahaha. Could I make this stuff up? Then she continued to tell us about the people who lived here before and had the same problem and how they helped them move their stuff out in the middle of the night. As we were listening to her i began to realize this landlord of mine probably has no intention of fixing the flooding problem here. Well see. i intend on continuing to bother him and let him know that we took a tour of the house in front and will not be moving in there as we had wanted before. I will also tell him its because its not up to code to be rented out and needs alot of work before it can be rented to anyone. Don't think for a second I wont inform anyone who wants to rent that that place......especially if they have children!! Speaking of children i shall move on from this subject to tell you all about my girls. they are getting so big! Lana is showing an interest in the toilet now that she sees Audi using it. :-) Lana may be out of diapers sooner than I thought. Yaaaay. I'm not going to push her just yet but I will encourage her and reward her for wanting to go. Does anyone brush their children's teeth the recommended 3 times a day? Image I was only doing it once a day but have lately been trying to do it 3 times a day but some days i admit its only 2. They use that training toothpaste so its not so harmful if they swallow it so I am teaching them to spit it out in the sink and to rinse and spit. Audis got it down pretty good now Image but Lana swallows the toothpaste then spits nothing. Hahahaha. Image Off topic: Check out what I did with Audis hair the other day. It was sooo cute! And she did so good while i did that, she didn't even care and all the rubber bands didn't hurt her head...She must have her mommas head. Image my hair hardly ever hurts and I make sure to pull my rubber bands tight. Not on Audi though I put them in and then pulled them to loosen them a bit and she was all good with them. :-) Yesterday was my birthday i turned 27. WOW! It was a good day. We started our day by going to breakfast with my family. We met up at Golden Corral. Image Image Had good company, good Conversation and I met My lil brothers girlfriend. Shes really cute. I like her she seems normal, you know? Doesn't seem like the stuck-up, materialistic type. That's good. So we finished our meal and everyone was on to dessert but i had eaten so much I couldn't fit in dessert...and that's when it happened! DUM DUM DUM(scaary music). A pie in my face compliments of my lil brother..hahaha. Hello nice to meet you Jessica.....its me Jessie's sister. The one with the whipped cream in my face. hahaha. Brothers, gotta love em. after cleaning up I continued to put the warning out to Jessie that his time was coming. I then got up from the table like I was all mad and all about business. Went to the dessert table scanned it for a second and stalled at the pie station. Reached in and grabbed a piece of.........banana bread! hahaha. You shoulda seen his face looking like what is she going to do?? Hahaha. I walked up to the table and was like "What? I wanted a piece of bread" hahaa. Everyone just busted up laughing. Yes, Jessie's time is coming....but well let him sweat a bit first. HEHEHEHEHE. Cant joke on the jokster....OR HIS WIFE! hahahaa. Really, him doing that just made my day. I have a great video That shows me going from embarrassment to anger to laughing about it all in about 2 min. hahaha. From there we made a quick stop home to wash up because it did leave a greasy film on my face even though it looked like it was all gone. And all you girls know it takes more than a little wash to get make up off. :-) you gotta really scrub to get all the mascara off and until you do you got a raccoon thang going on. haha. We then headed out to the movies to watch Scott Pilgrim vs. the world...my pick! loves loves loves Michael Cera. It was a good movie. Cera an action fighter? Wouldn't expect that to work but it does. The beginning was kinda weird and confusing but when the fighting started it got good. We ended our night by picking up some dinner, heading home and watching Hatchet on netflix. What a good good day! I really had a blast. Thank you soo much everyone for making it a special day. Looking on my facebook account and seeing all those b day wishes was just the icing on the cake.

ONE COOL PINA

let see what has happened since my last post? Well the kids (Kylan and Jaedyn) spent the night and I got pretty tipsy which made for some pretty interesting pictures. Image Image Image hahaha. We have so much fun together. We do a lot of reminiscing with the kids....Kylan likes to hear all the stories from our past. Hes always like "Tell me something you remember that is funny, or embarrassing, or crazy." That boy can sit and just talk about that stuff for hours. I remember we stayed up until like 3 in the morning just taking turns telling stories. I'm afraid I am running out of stories to tell him though...oh so if you remember anything having to do with me or Ardell than remind me. hahaha.
Audi is fully potty trained now. She had the runs the other day and still made it to the toilet each time. I figured if she can do that than she is fully trained. I knew Audi could do a lot by herself but I guess Ardelly didn't so when he went to help her in the restroom yesterday(which I tell him not to) he was tripping out on how audi was doing everything. Hes like..she got her stool and put it up to the toilet and put her seat on and climbed up there and after I wiped her she got down and took her seat off and put it away then flushed the toilet and shut the lid and got her stool and pushed it up to the sink to wash her hands. i was like ummmm yeah, i know, that's why I say not to help her because when hes home she knows he will help her so she acts like she cant do it. hahahahha. Now if only I could get Lana to that stage......nah. Lanas not at that stage yet. See I would but she doesn't communicate well enough yet. Once she can tell me she needs to use the potty and call my to help her I will be right on it!! I cant wait for that day! Image
My sister-in-law and brother came by last week and brought a big trash bag of clothes for the girls. That's been fun just digging in and sorting thru all the clothes. Some of them are really cute but a size too big so I will just have to be patient and wait for them to fit. Thanks a bunch Cindy and Zac, oh and the lady that gave the clothes to them.
So my cars tags were expired so I had to renew them and I had watched a friends daughter and earned a lil cash so I was happy like whew I can get this taken care of. Nope. My car had to go thru emissions first so I had to spend that money on that instead so I cant afford to get the tags now. oooops. Well Delly should get paid on Wednesday so we will just have to do it then. Until then, no car for me, and Delly drives a truck (not extended cab) so we cant fit the car seats and me in it. So no family trips till then which just means he will go everywhere and do everything by himself because I don't drive his truck.
Well I am drawing a blank so I guess that means I'm done. Yaaaay, I got another post in......if only i could write ones that made a bit more sense or flow better at least. I'm working on it. :-)

WHAT??? im all over the place. Cant even give this a title!!

So I came across this border a while back and really liked it! I told my friend Molly about it and she reminded me that my birthday is coming up......so yaaaay. I get to keep it for at least a month. Please don't mind my face looking really blown up. Hahahaha. I really liked the hat and Molly said its like the mad hatter who sings the "Very Merry Unbirthday" song. So going with the theme still.
Its really raining outside right now. I love the rain but it always makes me want ice cream. Don't know why, it just does.Dairy Free please. Ever since i got pregnant with Lana Bear I cant have many dairy items. Soooo weird. I once licked the bottom of a spoon I had been feeding Lana yogurt with and not even 5 min later i was throwing up, its almost an instantaneous reaction that my body does. How is that even possible? Shouldn't it have to be digested or absorbed first? I don't know but I really hate it. Its hard to find dairy-free items. And they are pretty expensive. For example a little container of ice cream for Delly runs about $2.00, an little container of ice cream for me....about $4.50. Grrrrr. Lactose free doesn't work for me either, has to be dairy free. CHEESE & RICE!Image

Oh and totally off topic. I love the flour tortillas that are raw any you cook them fresh. So at Costco I found them in a corn tortilla form. They are soooo yummy. I really want a comal to cook them on. My birthday is coming up *wink wink* hahaha. Nobody even reads this! hahaha. After getting the tortillas I came across the Hoover Floor Mate that i want and it was only $100.00. Pretty good price from what i can see. I need something really bad...for now I am shuffling my feet with a towel and a spray bottle of vinegar water. Works really well and gets the job done but it burns you out pretty good and takes quite a while. Especially when you have young children you need to keep away just to do it. Delly cleaned the floors for me the other day. I convinced him to do it, mostly because I didn't think he understood the work and effort it takes to do it. So i told him how to do it and how to make sure not to wet or wipe the dirt into the grout so it doesn't stain (pretty much washing the floor a tile at a time). He was looking very worn out half way through. I think he now realizes the extent of my floor cleaning situation now! I kinda felt bad and wanted to just do it myself when I saw him sweating and his back hurting.........but i reallly want that floor mate. :-)Image and now when i justify it to him I bet it doesn't sound as crazy. hahahahaha. Floor mate, I have come slightly closer to getting you! You'd better be worth it!!!!

sadness

My heart is full of sadness today. I can't sleep and I keep having these bursts of crying. Luckily I haven't broken down infront of anyone so I didn't have to think of an explanation. My mind just keeps waundering. It kills me to think someone who I still see as a sweet precious innocent little girl is hurting soooooo bad. I keep playing out scenarios in my head......I can do this..........than this will happen........or I can do this...........than this will happen. Yet I haven't found that ahhhaahh idea that has that wounderful ending. Like in 'life is beautiful' (yes I am referencing the movie of which I watch over n over) when the boy who all he wants is this tank and thru all the bad that is going down all around unbeknownst to him all he's thinking about is that big tank. Till the moment you watch that tank pull up............the flutter in your heart............that's what I want her to feel......a sigh of relief. Now I'm not even in this matter. I just know about it but my brain wheels are still going a mile a min thinking what if I could think of Sumn. Ya know? Just sitting here thinking of what she must be thinking. All you need is a seed of thought that you're alone and you mind can take over and become your biggest enemy. Not many know this but I know all too well about this matter. I have had awful struggles with depression. One of the most horrible things to struggle with is yourself. This is what upsets me so. Knowing in part what she's doing inside the part that she can't let out. It breaks my heart!!!

Easter Yay!

We had a pretty good Easter. It actually started the night before with the coloring of the eggs. We got this egg spinner, a life saver! i highly recommend this for anyone with children that you feel are too young still for the traditional colorings. Way fun for them too. The girls had a blast with it. Ardell and I stayed up until about 2 am. I had to do the Easter baskets, make some potato salad, clean, and I attempted to make an Easter cake but it failed. I put too much batter in the pan and it started to overflow. Ooooops. I swear my cooking and baking has been sooo off since we moved in here. starting to feel like I cant do anything in the kitchen anymore and I haven't made fry bread since we moved in so I am not so sure I'm confident in that anymore. However I will not make it here because Nene is the queen bee when it comes to fry bread so for me to try and do it in her house would be fry bread suicide!!!!! haha. I woke this morning before the girls and hid their baskets outside then when the girls woke we took them to play outside and tried to coax them into stumbling upon them. They had a blast playing with all their new stuff. By the way, we got these bubbles that you can supposedly hold in your hands thinking that would be neat. WRONG. They don't work very well and leave a weird sticky mess everywhere. I would not recommend these. Ian, Lisa Kylan and Jaedyn came to do the Easter egg hunt with the girls which was a lot more fun this year because Lana actually got the hang of it this year. Last year i put the eggs out and I picked the eggs up by myself. haha. We met up with my family and all had brunch @ Ihop which was nice since I don't really get to see them much these days. Totally my fault. My dad says it was the perfect place to go on Easter because what other restaurant hops? hahaha, such a jokester! We caught up a bit, laughed a bit and my mom was talking about how she wants to rent a mechanical bull for the next party. Hilarious. Took Audi, Kylan and Jaedyn to see 'How to Train a Dragon'. It was cute but since Audi didn't have a nap she slept thru the last half of the movie. Better to have a napping baby then a screaming one, huh? She had a blast after the movie though. There was one of those fountains that spray out of the ground and we just couldn't resist!!! Fun fun fun. Great photo opportunity too. Big thanks to my bro and sis in law Zac and Cindy for watching Lana so we could go to the movies. Ardell has today AND tomorrow off. YAAAAYYY! This never happens anymore. So exciting! Well its not letting me post any pics or videos at this time and i'm tired of messing with it so thats all for now.

Ice Cream Trucks and Pugs Running Wild

Today the girls had a blast! They played outside for a couple hours and we went to the grocery store and got stuff so I could do dinner. I made fresh lemon green beans with white rice and crunchy garlic chicken made with corn flakes. Yummmm. After Nene went to sleep Ardell did all the dishes and I swept and cleaned the livingroom. Like we were never running a hurricane thru this place.
Oh, so funny, I found out today that Audi somehow knew about the ice cream truck wich is wierd because where we use to live we didn't have an ice cream man. so i really dont know how she knows. However while we were outside he came by and Audi went running and said 'hurry hurry hurry ice cream hurry'. It was cute!
When we went back inside, Nene went back out to let her dogs roam around and a lady came up and was asking about buying one even after she said she wasn't selling. Then she starts feeding the dogs her soda thru the fence and a couple min later Nene noticed the dogs were outside the fence. I know that stupid lady opened the fence. We were just out there and i know for a fact it was shut! The nerve of some people.
Well now it's time to wind the girls down and get them to go to bed then me and Ardell are going to watch Inglorious Bastards. Nite Nite!
