With Mount Jumbo’s “L” transformed into the word “LIAR” and scores of people taking to the streets across Missoula, protesters peacefully unleashed their dissatisfaction with President Donald Trump Thursday.

First protest
Joel and Carolyn Schmidt hold homemade signs at the protest on Thursday. Carolyn said that growing up her father, a veteran, encouraged her to respect the military. "I though it wasn't reasonable then (to protest), but this is something different," she said. After hearing that President Donald Trump would be visiting Missoula she decided to would participate in her first protest ever.
Yoga class at Trump protest
Peaceful Heart Yoga leads a short class for protesters at Playfair Park on Thursday afternoon. Participants practiced in a field next to a sign that reads "we the people". The sign was created and used in rallies in 2003 by the Jeannette Rankin Peace Center. It was brought back out for the protest on Thursday.

OULA Fitness members put on a flash mob in the middle of the protest on Thursday. Protesters with signs and flags danced and sang along as the flash mob danced to Macklemore's "Can't Hold Us".
