Jewelry Care
Love beads come in an assortment of designs and colors. Some of the more elaborate designs which include specialty beads and charms require special attention, wear, or care.
If you wish to keep the integrity of your beads (luster, color etc.) avoid products with chemical properties such as perfume, body spray, soap or oils. These can break down or alter the beads and cause them to lose their brilliance. Single strands and Love Beads without charms can be worn every day.
Elements & products to consider that may affect the surface of your beads are as follows: tanning lotions, talc, medicated ointments, dyes, salts, bath soaks, salt water, & sprays fragrances, etc.
Please be mindful & apply products before you put on your jewelry.
Do not tug or pull on your jewels with heavy force.
Sleep in them as little as possible or not at all to prevent the risk of snagging & breaking.
For safe keeping, store your beads in a cool dry place out of direct sunlight.
Only waist beads that are tied on strands are considered permanent & made to bathe in.
Clasp finished, stretch cords, & wire finish designs are made for daily removal for your convenience and preservation of your crystals.
Over time natural, painted, or tinted beads may lose luster and/or fade.
Extensions
There is an option to add a 4" extender chain to all purchases*. If you would like some flexibility or a little extra wiggle room, leave a note to add a removable chain to your order. If you are purchasing multiple beads but generally only wear one waist bead at a time, you can add only one chain to your order and use that chain to interchange between different beads. If you do not want a clasp and would like to keep your beads on 24/7, please let us know and we will make the necessary arrangements.
